I loved my room that was so close to the pool, spa area, hot tub, and had a walkout terrace! The views were beautiful! Great location for getting on a cruise! There were a lot of food choices in the surrounding area! I would highly recommend to stay at Fairmont!
Pros. The hotel staff were all amazing! I'd like to call out Tacio Silva Olveira specifically for going above and beyond for my twins' bday. He arranged for a room upgrade and also for some birthday toys.
Cons. In a world where wifi has become fundamental for communication and information, and is offered for free all over the world because it is an inexpensive way to draw business, the fairmont charges $14 per day. I would have paid if it was just included in the already expensive room rate. As intended, I didn't read the fine print and was shocked to find out I had to go to the lobby to work. I was on a business trip. Also, I had to set the thermostat to 90, the maximum, to warm the room. It was never comfortably warm.
Pros. LOVED THE Location and loved this Hotel! BEAUTIFUL
Pros. This is a beautiful hotel and an exellent place to stay if you are leaving on or coming back from a cruise. The Arc restaurant is wonderful and all of the hotel staff are the best.. Our luggage was transferred to the ship for us which was a plus. The rooms are beautiful with spectacular views of the harbor and Canada Place.. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.
Pros. We thought that the bellmen were incredibly friendly and personable. We were given a complimentary drink at Arc as it was our anniversary; very thoughtful.
Cons. Didn't like the fact that for a higher end hotel there wasn't free WIFI. Paying $13.95 for WIFI seemed too expensive when we paid over $500 for the night.
Pros. The customer service at this hotel was unbelievable. Shout out of gratitude to risa and stephanie up in the Gold Lounge. What an amazing experience. The hotel is literally across the street from the cruise terminal. Great running course along the sea wall. A cant-miss Vancouver hotel!!!!!
Pros. Great room. Comfortable bed. Late night room service was excellent!
Pros. Could store luggage there after cruise
Cons. Nothing
Pros. We had an amazing stay at the Fairmont. The entire staff was beyond helpful and friendly which really made the holiday. Always smiling and giving extra attention. Location is perfect. Right by the waterfront but also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable plus clean and again super friendly staff making sure your every need is met and that you have a great stay. Highly recommend staying here.
Cons. Everything was great!
