Pros. The staff at the hotel were super friendly very good customer service. The gentleman on the night shift was by hi.self that day but still rocked the reception desk. Good job and thank you.
Cons. The shower, no hot water before 10 mins.
Cons. My room was freezing cold for my entire stay (4 nights) and I had the thermostat as high as it would go the whole time (23 C).
Pros. So convenient, close to the Bell Center. Friendly staff
Cons. Michel at the front desk was rude. Had us wait while he was inputting something into the computer. We only wanted to check out and he didn't even acknowledge us. Customers are always a priority and this hotel didn't provide good customer service. The hallways smelled like dirty laundry and at night nothing was soundproof as we could hear everything from the hallway and kept waking us up. Would never stay here again.
Pros. Location, comfortable beds, laminate flooring.
Cons. Breakfast was not great. Told buffet only but others ordered fresh eggs and bacon. Bugs in bathroom.
Pros. We got upgraded to a suite because a std room was going to be 2 double beds which is not acceptable for us. I wasn't spending my nights in Montreal with my husband and I in separate beds nor crammed in a double bed. The front desk clerk gave us a free upgrade to a suite which is probably why I was happy.
Cons. The elevator waits were over 5 minutes at any given time.
Pros. STAFF ARE VERY GOOD.
Cons. LOBBY ALWAYS FULL OF SOME STRANGERS ON WILLCHAIRS WITH KIDS. ONE OF NIGHT WAS VERY VERY LOUD IN A CORRIDOR FROM BUNCH OF DRUNK PEOPLE.
Pros. Espresso is in a great location. It has covered parking and is an incredible value for the price. I have stayed there numerous times and will be back. Very easy to walk from the hotel. The room is very nice and has a small fridge.
Pros. There is free coffee at the front desk and in the rooms. The rooms themselves were fairly decent with comfy beds, free wifi, and a mini fridge (empty, but useful for leftovers). The hotel also offers parking in their garage for about $22/day, where we left our car for the weekend, walking everywhere, except for 1 late night, round trip on the metro (too cold to walk all the way to the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood of the city). There is a station just behind the hotel a bit.
Cons. This hotel worked for our stay for the weekend, located just on the edge of downtown Montreal, but my fiance and I agree that we will stay somewhere else next time. The "fitness center" is a small room with 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 bench press machine, 2 abs stations, and 1 multi-station piece of equipment. There are some free weights, but some are missing. There is a water cooler and towels, but no sanitation cleaner or wipes and the room looks like it belongs in the basement of a shabby home. The lobby is not much to speak about either. You also are not allowed to check-in before their standard check-in time. They will not even look to see if the room is available (we arrived just after 2pm, but had to wait until 3pm to check-in).
Pros. Very near to so many nice places in the city of Montreal. Few minutes walk to a lot of restaurant and few minutes walk to the Metro. Pet friendly accept cats and we really appreciate it. The housekeeping staff are friendly as well. We will definitely come back
Cons. You need to pay for your parking even though you are a hotel guest
