Pros:Did not have the car I reserved. Reserved a full size car and only had compact cars and they wanted to charge me three times the amount.

Pros:Everyone involved made the process easy and quick, they were friendly and helpful

The van was extremely comfortable and had a lot of modern tech. The tech was not so refined, however. The CarPlay kept rebooting mid-drive for some reason, the automatic doors were frustrating and the adaptive cruise control was horrifically incompetent. The standard cruise was great and the ride itself was superb. Very comfy and quiet ride.

Cons:Trying to extend the rental was a nightmare. The 800 number tried charging me a weekly rate for one more day, then told me would do a daily rate Asked for email confirmation twice (one on saturday one on Sunday) after that red flag and was never sent it Returned on original day resulting, having to alter plans and after 4 calls to Hertz The 800 number also refused to wave the 10 dollar fee for forcing me to switch back to the original agreement Luckily the person at the counter fixed it Also car wasn't ready for over an hour after scheduled time. Will not be booking again w kayak resulting

Car was filthy when I picked it up. Also, there was less than 1/2 tank of gasoline. Almost as soon as I got out of the lot, the tire pressure alarm went off and I had to go find air to fill one of the tires. The car was well "used". The floor carpet on the passenger side was coming up. Other than the above, the car drove and rode well on the 1600 mile trip.
Very efficient, especially for how late at night we got in. Also very easy to return the car.
