Hertz cancelled my car and left me with no alternatives. They said they have no cars which meant that there is a communication problem between Kayak and Hertz. The only good thing I can say is that they at least called to tell me.

Pros:Staff was friendly but did not accommodate the legitimate request for an upgrade to a larger vehicle.
Cons:The photo of the vehicle on the website was not even close to the same size of the vehicle which was provided. The website indicated I would be renting a full size SUV with a photo of a Chevy Tahoe. The small print indicated the vehicle was going to be a Nissan Pathfinder or similar vehicle. It was a cheap attempt by the company to entice you with a larger vehicle and then provide you with a smaller vehicle which is described in the fine print.

Cons:Pickup and drop off did not go well due to a delayed flight. We arrived at 10:15 and missed the pickup window which caused us to have to uber to and back the next morning to pick up the car. Neither staff seemed to have concern for site saying 24 hrs but this location closing at 10. We had to call two Uber’s (nearly price of rental). Just overall negative experience from the hertz staff, when they could of been a positive in an tough situation.

Bryce was very friendly and helpful. Discussed which car would be best for what I wanted to do in and around Vegas, and even walked me to the pick-up area which was a little hard to find.
