Cons:Waited over an hour to pick up the vehicle. Only had infini vehicles left. Way overpriced and nothing one person working at Tampa. Another finally came over to help. . Wheels were terrible and for what we paid it should have been very smooth it was not. Drop off was outrageous.
Pros:Very efficient, and drop off was super easy
Cons:Returned first car and was issued same type of car. Noticed didn't clean old car but was handed out as soon as I dropped it off with complaint that there was an issue with it. They didn't even clean it before giving it out
Pros:Drop off was easy. Car was great!
Cons:Had to wait in a line for 30 minutes to get the car. It cost a lot for the week. Taxes and fees are ridiculous.
Pros:Dropping off the car at SRQ was super easy. Picking up the car a t Tampa airport was not a good experience.
Cons:When I picked up the car, the agent at the counter at Tampa Airport was not wearing a mask. He just had it around his neck. When I reminded him, he was nasty and said "aren't you tired of wearing a mask?". And he still refused to wear the mask. My wife also approached him and reminded him. He refused and was also nasty in tone and words.
Cons:Needed to change reservations and lost all my money.
Pros:Drop off was easy but I never got the emailed bill I was promised.
Cons:The brakes on the car were iffy, the inside was dirty, there was pink chalk on the outside window that got all over my shirt, there was an error message that kept coming on on the dash board and the radio didn’t work with Bluetooth. My parents were so worried about the brakes in the car, they wouldn’t let us drive it. I only drove the car from the airport and back to the airport. It was a waste of money for me. I had to uber everywhere or ask my parents for a ride. I won’t use kayak or dollar car rental again.
Had the choice of picking which vehicle I would like to drive. The Nissan Rogue that I was given had 54,000 plus miles and shook when driven above 60 miles per hour. It had a number of door dings which concerned me before I drove off the lot. The attendant was helpful in reassuring me that none of the blemishes identified would register as damage that I caused when returned.
Pros:Dropoff was super easy.
Cons:Pickup was a pain. First vehicle smelled strong like weed. 2nd vehicle had zero truck space and could not fit everyone with car seats. Dollar upgraded us to a larger vehicle and we actually fit. Need more family vehicle options
Pros:We had a very disappointing experience with dollar rental and I will be calling to make a complaint.
Cons:We could have gotten the right vehicle that we reserved and their could have been more people working when we arrived at 11:30 at night so we didn’t have to wait an hour to get our vehicle.
