Pros:The check in staff was quick and polite and the gentlemen who assisted me on the phone with my reservation was extremely attentive
Cons:I confirmed with multiple people multiple times that a child seat would be available to rent. I paid for it was assured over and over again this was possible as this was the main reason I was renting the car. When I went to pickup the car I was directed to a shelf in the garage where I was supposed to pick a car seat from. All of the options looked dirty, worn out and unsafe. They were all missing parts of the buckles and thrown on the shelf as if they had been left behind by other customers. I grabbed one that I recognized, trying to move the process along to get back to my sister with her son who was waiting with our luggage, and come to find out the car seat did not have the bottom buckle included, only 1 of the 2 buckles required to make it safe and work correctly. We ended up not even using it and were forced to find Lyft drivers who had appropriate child seats in their cars. Incurring further costs. Dollar rental should not be allowed to rent out child seats that do not have the correct buckles installed this is incredibly dangerous and poses a massive liability issue.
