Cons. Quibbles and comments. I don’t think these were major issues at all: 1. The overnight front desk attendant was on the phone throughout my interactions with him, both checking in and 15 minutes later when I returned to ask for extra towels. It seemed to me it was essentially an ongoing personal call / chat session, but I am not certain and the employee still checked us in efficiently. 2. The pool did not open until 10a. I wish this were earlier. I really wanted to take my son swimming. We couldn’t afford to wait around for 10a because we needed to continue traveling. With a 12p checkout, it doesn’t leave much time for a one-night guest to swim. 3. The electronic lock on our room door was difficult to open on first arrival and the indicator light was very dim; I thought perhaps the battery was low. 4. The room had a touch of an “off” scent that neither my wife nor I could Identify. It was the kind of thing we noticed first walking through the door but forgot about within a couple minutes. It was only noticeable when transitioning from out of the room to in it, but not really bothersome once inside.
Pros. Wonderful studio suite with a kitchenette. Upscale carpeting, wall coverings and furniture. Easy access to all major roadways from a pleasant neighborhood.
Cons. Queen bed instead of King.
Pros. Everything! Great location, free breakfast with real eggs, very nice room with a kitchenette. All for $106 for a family of four!
