I cannot believe how expensive this hotel was- for such a basic room. No character or style - really dingy decor. No one greeted us when we checked in -and the self check in screen didn’t work. We got out of taxi in the rain with luggage , stroller, and baby and no one helped us up the stairs . I would not stay here again.
Pros. Hotel was great. Specifically, Christina at the Apron restaurant was wonderful. Courteous, polite, professional and sweet, she made my dining experience pleasant and delightful. I would hire her in a moment!
Pros. The location. Three building away from the underground. Walking distance to ChinaTown and SOHO. Also walking distance to London Eye and Parliament building. Had nearby restaurants, coffee shops and bars
Cons. Air conditioning not good enough for summer time. Shower somewhat small
Pros. Location, and the business library is a great place to do work or have a quiet meeting. Wifi in the library is excellent, but not so good in the rooms. The employee's are very helpful and nice to deal with.
Cons. The cost per night is high but it is actually cheaper than others close by given its location. Had to move rooms as wifi in some rooms is very sketchy.
Pros. Great location and helpful staff. The staff helped answer all our questions including how to get to heathrow when we were leaving and all the roads were closed do to a marathon downtown.
Cons. I really can't think of anything we didn't like with this trip. The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. The location was close to everything we needed.
Pros. Decent sized rooms for London. Clean and well run. Very close to Embankment tube station.
Cons. Slightly touristy part of town.
Pros. Beautiful hotel centrally located in the heart of London's biggest attractions. Loved the ability to walk everywhere without ever needing a taxi. Wonderful stay and would recommend to close friends and family.
Pros. Convenient & central location , very comfortable
Cons. Customer service needs to improve
Pros. Location is fabulous for tourists and the room seemed pretty clean. I did my own wipe-down with wipes and there wasn't much left behind.
Cons. Maid didn't replace my washcloth even though I purposely left it on the floor to indicate that I wanted a new one. Room was small and the view from the window was nothing but a wall.
Pros. Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Clean, quiet, and modern rooms with big screen TV. Beds are comfortable and relatively new. We were able to check in early for a reasonable fee.
Cons. Bathroom had no ventilation and you have to prop open the door to clear the moisture after a shower.
