Simple, slightly dated hotel with friendly and helpful staff. 24 “security” by a number of different people observing the property. Multiple camera show all public areas of the hotel. Internet is weak, so trying to watch tv is kind of useless since program will freeze for a couple of minutes then play for a minute, then freeze again. Still good enough to check and send emails. Wouldn’t expect too many people to come there and stay inside. It’s more like a place to shower and sleep after being out and about during the day. Reasonably priced compared to similar properties in the area. Stayed their twice so far.
No A/C. Only fans. TV uses wifi and was crappy because wifi was crappy. Wifi was good in the hall. Once you closed your door, wifi went crappy. No ice machine. They give a bag of ice from freezer. Ice had started to melt before it went into freezer. So, you got a 5 lb. block of frozen together ice cubes.
quite, clean and safe place for a night's rest
Pros. Location was the only plus for the hotel
Cons. Overall cleanliness, did not service our room for 3 days, roomed smelled like vomit when we got into it. No air conditioning made the dinginess and smell worse.
Pros. Good location, nice pool. Close to Reeds Bay Park. They did move us to a unit at the far end within a stones throw of the sea! That was really nice! Housekeeping staff were Great!
Cons. Just happened to come when it was really Hot & Humid. No A/C so wasn’t really comfortable till night time.
Cons. There was a coffeemaker in the room but no coffee. Inexpensive price, so can't expect more than a clean, comfortable room.
Pros. Location was great Quiet rooms. Clean.
Cons. Walk up steps only, but was told before I went there No elevator or a/c, but was told before I went there.
Pros. Very clean and exactly what it stated
Cons. Beds outdated, mattress not comfortable
Pros. Although the decor is a little dated, everything is well cared for and the room was SO CLEAN and so tidy when we came in! The bed was comfy, the staff was personable, and I got to watch a sea turtle munching on algae from the back staircase.
Cons. The WiFi was really spotty in our room, and the network wasn't password protected. The shower head was meh. Other guests were a little loud in the afternoon but they quieted down well before bedtime.
Pros. Good price
Cons. No elevator...
