Pros. Great customer service, excellent atmosphere, free valet, clean rooms!
Pros. The staff was very nice.
Cons. No fans in the bathroom, bed was so hot couldn't sleep even with the air conditioning running. One vending machine and it's not even in the actual hotel. I've spent less away other hotels and had better amenities. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.
Pros. Super spacious bathroom that was well divided. Large well appointed room
Cons. Will stay there again!
Pros. i liked the staff a lot, and the casino aspect
Cons. no free breakfast? if i pay $200 a night for a room, i expect at least some fruit and cereal. but nothing other than coffee was provided.
Pros. I was there for a wedding and it was centrally located to everything. The door men and valet were extremely personableand very nice.
Cons. I would have given it 5 stars all around, however, the front desk check in staff did not inform us of the shuttle provided by the wedding until asked and they did not tell us the correct times so we missed the bride walking down the aisle.
Pros. service by staff and room size was big.
Cons. hotel was very smokey
Pros. This place is amazing. They have it going on! From the great staff to the great rooms and to the great entertainment!! We are definitely staying at the MGM from now on when we visit Detroit!!
Cons. Everything was AMAZING!!!
Pros. -Loved the pool and spa facility. the room was fantastic, loved the bathroom. access to restaurants and the casino were great as we did not have to go far to get drinks or food. -Drinks were very inexpensive and of good quality. Our cocktail waitress, Autumn, who worked at the Axis lounge was very very kind and hard working. she checked on us many times so we could enjoy our time on the couches without having to get up to order drinks. -we are a gay couple, and felt safe staying at the hotel. Although when I made phone calls I was called "Mr.Johnson" a number of times.
Cons. -there really needs to be a mini fridge or cooler that we can put leftover food and items in. we were traveling by car so a lot of our items would go to waste. -security guards at living room entrance, there needs to be more consistency in them knowing what all of the guest room key cards look like. we were questioned about being guests because we had cards that said "TAP" on them, and the security guard had only seen ones that said "AXIS" on them. plus no other guard stopped us like that. -having bathrobes in our room would have been a plus because we went to the spa so often but had to walk down in just bathing suits and wet towels.
Pros. Everything you could ask for.
Pros. Location
Cons. Under 18 cannot use pool and must be escorted by security to dine. Sold a double bed room, given a king with 1 roll away
