Your passport must also have at least one blank page for the entry stamp. You do not need a visa if visiting Cape Verde for less than 30 days for tourism purposes. However, for longer stays, you will need a visa, and the single-entry visa should suffice as it will allow you to visit the country for up to 90 days.

  • Which airport is closest to Chaves Beach?

If a trip to Chaves Beach is part of your itinerary, the best airport to fly to is Aristides Pereira International Airport (BVC), on the same island, approximately 3.1 miles from the beach. • Which airport should I fly to if I plan to visit Santa Luzia?

Travelers with granted access to the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia can fly to Cesária Évora Airport (VXE) on the island of São Vicente, approximately 12 miles from the island. From the U.S., you should look for flights to major hubs like Lisbon, Madrid, Casablanca, Dakar, or Accra, where you’ll find a connecting flight to VXE. Reasonably comfortable. We were about an half an hour late. But no personal impact. Seats upfront have a good amount of recline, but do not lay down flat. Food and drink can be improved. There are no soft drinks available on the flights. Water, juices, and wines are provisioned.

Flight on time. Staff pleasant and responsive. Food could be much better. Snack before landing was a few dry crackers and a drink. Nothing else. There was a very lumited selection of beverages available on a 7 hour flight. No soft drinks, even in the front cabin.

Delayed departure of one hour and half, inflight entertainment NOT functioning. Plane did not crash and I arrived alive, so I guess it was a good flight.

This was a long flight - 6 hours - and nothing is truly comfortable for that long... but the flight crew was friendly and attentive. The airport in the Azores is small but we weren't there long enough to explore any amenities.

There is one flight a day and it was canceled with no explanation

Flight was ok. Food on way there great a pork dish way back tuna and pasta was not good. Flight attendants were great. Wish they had more soda options like ginger ale seltzer water. Good experience overall. Worst part of trip was car rental Klass company car broke down we were on side of road late night 4 hours awful awful experience all they wanted was 500 euros for help to come absolutely horrible experience we were scared side of highway they offered zero help!

Coming from USA it was nice to be treated nice for a change. Even though our flight was pretty short we were served breakfast. On time flight with very caring staff. Please teach American carriers how to treat people.

More space between seats and in bathroom. I don’t think there was any entertainment offered. If there was, I wasn’t aware.

Every meal/snack included something with ham/pork - even the cookies had "swine fat" (which we only knew because we thoroughly checked the ingredients). There were no vegetarian options, and we had not been given the option of pre-selecting a meal when purchasing our tickets or checking in. That made for a VERY long flight. We were fortunate that we had brought our own snacks as back-up.

Waited in line for hours just to get a boarding pass which would not print at the kiosk or load on my iPhone. Waiting again for about 45 minutes to get through passport control. Poorly managed airport. The flight and crew were great and the flight was very comfortable.

I’m still missing my bags. I’m soo frustrated

TAP boarding gate agents singled out Group A line to gate check all carry on bags …. Supposedly because of lack on bin space. BUT ALL OTHERS WERE PERMITTED WITH CARRY ON BAGS. Additionally so many passengers entering the plane after us were permitted carry on bags. And when the plane was fully loaded, there was a number of open spaces in the overhead bins. I WILL SEARCH OTHER OPTIONS BEFORE FLYING TAP AGAIN

Great pilot, textbook landing in madeira. Everything else, from booking to checkin, plane quality, seat amenities, crew engagement, and overall experience were significantly below standard. I WOULD NOT FLY TAP IF THERE IS ANY OTHER OPTION.

Our flight was canceled for a reason that suggests gross mismanagement. We were re-booked for a flight to a different airport.

Great overall experience with TAP - would not hesitate to recommend for your next trip to or from Portugal

Correct meal and overall flight went well. 204€ for an extra luggage is simply exaggerated

Bused out to the plane, then back to the terminal. Plane was delayed for 2 hours - most of that time spent sitting in bus or plane with NO EXPLANATION of what was going on. Departure delay due to crew not showing up on time. FIX THAT. Why do your own international flights NOT have gates with ramps. Being 74 and having to carry my carry ons up and downstairs is awful.

Boarding the plane from 2 entries at the the same time front and back was ridiculous. I boarded from the back for row 7 and others boarded from the front for row 15, for example. We met mid-plane and had to squeeze past each other. Ridiculous

We had seats 1 D and 1E which is right to the front as there were no other seats available. It is right up at the galley and toilet. Whole flight was very noisy and busy and we didnt get a good flight or rest the entire flight. Its was a pretty costly Business class fare that felt like Economy class experience.

Way too much money for the experience, would have been better in economy
