Alaska and Delta by far have the best service from Seattle to LA, with many flights a day. I honestly prefer Alaska in general, but they codeshare so much with American, whom I generally loathe, that I have been switching my flying to Delta simply to avoid American. American themselves run 2 CRJs a day via SkyWest to LA, and United runs one or two flights as well. The American service is what it is — I only took it due to a vastly lower price for a Qantas ticket to Australia.

SeaTac does not have a very good or equitable system for security lines. First class passengers don’t have a TSA precheck option, while there are only 2 TSA precheck lines on opposite sides of the terminal. Highly recommend getting TSA plus Clear, as the airport heavily favors this combination, with each section of the terminal having one of these options. I almost missed my flight because the only TSA precheck line was about 45 minutes long.

there was an instance where a non speaking couple didnt know when to board. people cut in front of them and the crew didnt respond. it would be nice if there were translators available to assist when needed. i get that you want people on board as quickly as possible. sometimes, it's like herding cats. but do assist the people who dont understand the language.

Layover from NRT(JPN), to SFO (US), to LAX(US) Easy if you are a United States Citizen, when you go to US Border & Customs, bring your Passport if you arrive Internationally. Remember to pick up your check baggage before moving into domestic flights, as they will check the tag for the plane you are boarding in. (They will check your baggage again). Bring your ID/DL (Real-ID COMPLIANT) with you to pass security/TSA, passport works too. SFO is pretty strict as well as LAX.

Avoid flying into LAX. It’s a nightmare. Baggage claim took 40 minutes. And then the shuttle to the car rental place took an hour because there are two shuttles. The first is a local bus that makes a stop at every seven terminals and then it takes you to another place where you have to wait for your smaller shuttle to the car rental place.

Book with a long gap if you have a connection on another airline. My flight from Phoenix was only 1 hr long but there was an over 2 hr delay in boarding. Luckily I allowed a 6 hour gap between flights for my other flight leaving overseas or I would have missed it. Many people like me fly one flight to LA which has a lot more international departures because it’s a lot cheaper to break the flights up than to book them together . So it’s important that flights are somewhat on time especially between different flights not connected with one booking.

The one unfortunate item with this flight, because the flight was full, everyone in group 3 and more had to tag their carry on luggage and have it checked. I my opinion, there was lots of available space on the plane for pack packs, coats etc that could all have been put under the seat. We cannot give up our carry on because of the medical needs

Be very careful that you don’t misplace anything. If you have to go through TSA multiple times, be sure to retrieve ALL your things even if it means you have to hold up the line unfortunately. Otherwise, there will be zero help to retrieve your things afterwards even though there are so many cameras.

If you have kids, bring your own screens. We were counting on the inflight entertainment and it was a definite letdown. Also, TSA Pre-check is only available at station 2, but wait times are posted at each station so you can see if it’s worth the walk.

Only one side of the heafphone jack work. Crew was friendly and helpful.

Great. Flight departed early and arrived early. Deplaning and baggage claim ww were quick.

They separated our seats and moved us to the back of the plane. Hundreds of dollars and thousands of miles used and this was my platinum member experience.

AC barely worked on a 50 minute flight. It was very warm the whole flight. Flight was very bumpy and hard landing.

Rough day of travel all the way around. Wrong info given to us multiple times and mistakes in their booking making our trip 10 hours longer than planned. It was good until there was a 3 hour delay because there was not any pilots to fly the plane.

Smooth boarding and friendly crew. Unfortunately as soon as we boarded the unit that provides air circulation failed. The pilot informed us and requested maintenance technicians to check it out. The plane became uncomfortably warm without any fresh air coming in. Plus the repair delayed our departure. I am glad the maintenance crew were able to fix the problem. I also was without use of my tv monitor for the first 1/3rd of the trip.

Communication with the customer and stay is important. Staff off with a minor inconvenience but it worked out of course. Also this was a very old Mint Class plane. They snuck this one in on us. The updated aircraft are much better.

The flight itself was fine, but the boarding process was extremely frustrating. There is no one scanning boarding passes - passengers just scan themselves and enter the jetway. By the time my husband and I got on the plane and were halfway to our seats they determined there were too many bags on the plane and everything at that point needed to be checked. This created a lot of unnecessary chaos. They should have alerted people before getting on the plane that they would need to start checking bags instead of waiting until people were already on the plane.

The best flight I’ve had in a while. The plane was like 25% capacity, if that. Smoothest boarding and deplaning process I’ve ever experienced. Wish all flights were this smooth.

Did not enjoy this flight at all. All of my coworkers flew delta and I chose JetBlue because I really value how simple the WiFi and entertainment is and this flight I didn’t get either. Crew staff was unsympathetic to my system not working, everyone I asked for help with was extremely bothered by my request for help.

Little snafu at boarding. Staff communicated with gate poorly. Flight attendant was rude making disembark early. This was an older mint class. Needs an overhaul for sure. Food was good. The male flight attendant was really nice.

My encounter with the entertainment services provided on board was moderate; the functionality of the Wi-Fi connection was either sluggish or nonoperational, while the display screens were antiquated and suffered from poor visibility. On the positive side, the cabin exuded a sense of expansiveness, and the crew exhibited amiable and accommodating behavior throughout the journey.

Everything was great except for some reason crew and ground crew could not figure out how to deal with an electric wheelchair and it delayed us 20-30mins. Was pretty frustrating for passengers and the captain.

We were delayed 3x and because I didn’t purchase my tickets directly from United Airlines I was told I Have to take care of it myself so I called Underpricer and they helped me but before I changed my flights I took the risk of sticking by what my tickets were and was lucky to have gotten on the original all flight with only 15 mins before take off. not sure if I will do this again

Everything good until we waited for jet bridge at SFO. Then pilot gets on speaker & said it won’t reach plane- too short, need to go to different gate. Then 5 min later, adjusted plane/jetbridge & all ok?!?

We had to wait almost an hour for the wheelchair porter to be ready to pick up my mother. And when she arrived in Newark airport the porter was not there and she started walking with her cane and her poor mobility. When the Newark porter found her they didn't want to transfer her bags to the wheelchair for her.

Great onboard crew. Boarding was a zoo, I got in line before pre boarding in Group 2, still had my bag force checked. WiFi was glitchy all flight. Seat and bathroom are both tiny unless you pay $$$ for first class.

Cabin was pitch black, even during meal service. The reading lights for seat 2E/F did not work, and seat 2E did not recline.

This was a 5 hour flight with no entertainment and with a snack being provided (pretzels and fruit bar), which are both high in carbs and sugar. Nuts would have been a better choice.

RE Food: Wish there was a choice for No Rating. Flew from Honolulu to Los Angeles on a Red-Eye flight (11:00 pm to 7:30 am). Other than a package of cookies with a beverage choice offered soon after take-off, and a beverage choice shortly before landing, no other food choices were offered. Everyone slept or rested for most of the trip. Nothing to rate. RE Entertainment: Everyone was sleeping most of the flight. Only saw one passenger watch about 30 minutes of entertainment on his iPad. I never attempted to access any entertainment options.

Baby cried a lot. Nothing anyone could do about it. Just part of flying.

For coast to coast travel the A321 and even the NEO, even in first class will never be excellent. That would take a B787 or 777 to accomplish.

The flight crew was fantastic! Which the seats had a small TV.

The foot ottoman cushion was missing on my business class seat.. the hydraulics is on its last leg & seat cushions do not have support or paddling. Heavily dented by butts

I was unhappy with having the seat I chose changed at the last minute. I was moved to an aisle seat which did not recline and was next to the bathroom. The bathroom odors made the flight entirely unpleasant. Having carefully chosen my seat months before I was not pleased with my AA experience. In addition, they ran out of tea during flight service, really?

Dallas Hub. American taking ownership for their screwups instead of blaming their contractors and customers, trading their people, their call in service, reservation agents and their ticketing process. Make sure wheelchairs are available especially when the request is in their record.

Delayed fight LAS to LAX. OK, fog in LA, not your fault. But all your staff, onboard in in lounge, speak so fast, enunciate so poorly and often have a accent that it is impossible to understanding anything they are saying.

The gate area was terrible at San Diego airport -way too crowded in a small space. Since my husband was driving to our destination, we did not have to take any luggage so my kids and I only had backpacks. Therefore everything was easy and smooth. And we didn’t have to pay up charges for everything and it was a short flight. I tried table was broken and it was a little cramped, but it was fine for what we needed. I probably would not fly spirit on a longer flight and if I had to take baggage.

Boarding procedure is horribly slow. You charge me to check a bag and would not let me carry it on. Charged me to simply select a seat. Charged me for water. Charged me for every little thing on top of paying for an expensive ticket. Your seats are terrible. So uncomfortable, they don’t recline. No WiFi, no way to charge my phone. No entertainment. I mean you Offer noting and you charge for everything. Why would anyone want to fly with you again?

The staff from LAX to New Orleans were rude but the staff from New Orleans to LAX were nice!

Paid extra for a “comfy seat” which was anything but!

It was cancelled unexpectedly so we rented a car and drove home.

Everything that was available was excellent. Spacious and comfortable, with lovely and helpful crew (one was having a bit of a sour day, but that happens). We sat on the tarmac for one hour and seven minutes waiting for our gate to clear in SAN, but the pilot kept us informed and, amazingly, was very professional in not ragging on the airport (whose fault it was).
