Top tips for finding cheap flights to Bangladesh

  • Book at least 1 week before departure in order to get a below-average price.
  • High season is considered to be May, June and July. The cheapest month to fly from the United States is September.
  • Enter your preferred departure airport and travel dates into the search form above to unlock the latest Bangladesh flight deals.
  • Travelers coming to tour multiple cities in Bangladesh should consider flying to Dhaka, the capital city that hosts Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC). The airport operates numerous flights to domestic destinations, making it the base to tour other parts of the country.
  • The documents needed when boarding a plane to Bangladesh are a boarding pass, identification documentation (passport), letter of invitation, visa (or CIBTvisa), and proof of travel.
  • To board domestic flights, you are only required to provide photo ID, which could be in the form of a National ID, student ID, driving license, or a valid passport.
  • Suppose you are transiting to areas on the southeastern coast of Bangladesh, endeavour to book flights that land in the port city of Chattogram, where Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP) is located. This airport records a high frequency of flights, and you thus won’t have a challenge securing a flight on your way back.

  • Many flights to Bangladesh from the U.S. require a layover either in Doha (DIA) or Istanbul (IST). This is because Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines are the two major carriers plying this route, hence the layovers in their respective capitals. To this end, plan and book these options if you are on a tight budget and are looking to save money.
  • All short term visitors to Bangladesh are expected to prove sufficient financial liquidity to support themselves during their stay.
  • All foreigners departing from Bangladesh, except children below two years of age, are expected to pay a departure tax that may be included in the flight ticket price. Confirm with your airline on whether the ticket price is inclusive of departure tax.
  • Bangladesh has numerous cities, and you’ll thus need connections to tour more than one. Therefore, it might be best if you fly through the hubs of specific airlines that provide good connections to your itinerary cities. Emirates runs its hub at the Dubai International Airport (DBX) and might suit your needs.

The entire crew went above and beyond. This was our first flight with our 3 month old, and they were accommodating and friendly. The crew is attentive and marks a HIGE difference to the regular runs with Avianca and LATAM.

Business class on this plane was adequate, service, amenities, swag, and crew was amazing!

Airline did not have enough vegetarian meals for all guests, and crew were not adequately trained to handle this.

Worst flight I ever had I payed for special seats with underpriced which I never recieved. I will like you to make sure that I am refunded my 134.00 dollars that I paid for the seats that I never received. I am looking forward for Kayak to look into this issue with underpriced because they took my money and never booked the seats for me with the airline.

Not too happy with ground staff at Dubai airport. We had asked for wheel chair, and we were told to walk a long distance, poorly organised. And then at boarding to Mumbai flight wecwere treated rudely by the local Emirates staff forced to check in our cabin bags, we told them we were transiting.

My favorite airline when traveling to the UAE. Great food and great service.

I have a very good experience flighting with emirates. All my expectations were fit well.

Emirates is good airlines. But there plane seats were very small and congested. Need to little good and big seats in economy class.

Meals were delicious, however I got hungry between dinner and breakfast.

Very good!! If at all, the business class chair/bed was bit small!! It’s because of older plane- as was told!

Did not like anything. Seats were crammed, leg space was minimal and food was terrible. This was the first time traveling overseas in American Airlines and was the worst experience ever. Have learned a lesson to never travel in American Airlines.

Boston to Doha was great but Doha to Dhaka was the worst experience.

Delayed my flights and no communication. We end up spending 6 hrs in Doha. No food or any concern from the airline. Terrible

Check in desk people constrained by fear. Obvious typo on Uganda visa, even though approved, caused loss of flight. Something is definitely wrong with this system.

Between Air India and Qatar my luggage was lost for three days. I eventually found my own luggage location using the Apple Air Tag. Air India used a paper form to report my lost luggage. I could never get past getting past luggage personnel with my report number before they would hang up on me. Only after them specifically telling Air India at Chandigarh airport where my luggage was located which was right under their noses did they react. After three days I finally received my luggage. The Air India luggage folks didn’t seem proactive in finding the luggage’s rightful owner.

Besides the flight cancellation, everything else was prefect. Kudos to Malaysian Airlines.

Operated by American Airlines. Very chaotic and the crew was bit rough responding any enquiries. Restricted leg space.. Qatar would have been better

Qatar airways from Doha to guangzhau was excellent big bird Boeing 777 more room and smoothly flight, I Love it

It was good no problems made it on time for the next flight overseas!

The made us waiting and held our passports and boarding pass making us miss our flights

It’s very tiring journey with only 3 seats in a row and not good for family of four. Online checkin don’t work and unable to select the seats while going.

Ok, the flight was not full yet I had people on both sided and the chairs were tight. Only 2 kinds of snacks didn’t even have milk for the coffee.

Economy seats are better than most other international airlines. Crew is nice, food is halal and pretty good. Seatback tv selection is ok, not great. Wifi is poor and crazy expensive, "free" messaging lasts 15 minutes and capped at 3mb, full flight plans are $50 USD and still very tightly data capped.

Food was bad, boarding experience especially at Jeddah was extremely chaotic. Flights were very uncomfortable with Meals at odd times

Make the food options available, than running out even before mid way through the service.

Riyadh to Dhaka was disaster! Passengers were standing the whole flight blocking ways for using restrooms. Bathrooms were extremely dirty. Food quality was very poor. Overall Riyadh to Dhaka was extremely poor and bad experience.

There is issue with first name and every thing is correct, and they did not onboard, it was really bad experience I recommend not to buy ticket and support team is very poor ever though online support is very bad

Plane is very old and not the same seating as online No per seat entertainment The large shared tv wasn’t working Didn’t provide headphones No announcements of departures or arrival from captain or crew

The staff were courteous. The best part is that this airlines has a place designated for prayer. As a Muslim it’s very important for me to be able to pray and the airlines facilitated this for me and others who were on the flight. The other great aspect of this travel is there was no alcohol served. I love this airlines

The entertainment system on my seat didn’t work for the whole length of the flight, staff was not helpful. Horrible experience. Its so hard to go through a flight from LA to jeddah with no movies.

Check in was not available online. It was super long line to check in

I did not have a good experience from the first point of contact to the check in person to boarding and the comfort of the seats. I would not travel on Turkish again. I will let my family and friends know about my experience which was not a pleasant one.

Food quality and the overall service of the staff and significantly decreased. The flight was delayed at the Istanbul airport and the passengers were kept onboard for more than 3 hours. The staff didn’t kept the passengers informed and everyone was upset.

Cross Atlantic flight terrible aircraft TK10 on the way back : Old configuration tacky . The boarding in Istanbul at the gate fly TK686 was a mess unorganized , very rude ground staff . Overall never again

The food served was frozen salad and hummus. The hot meal was fine. Crew was doing bare minimum

I enjoy flying with Turkish Airlines and such good hospitality among the crew memebers

Good food and wine. Some of the Guy who are in charge to board Passengers on the plane couldn’t use the word “Please” to direct them drop their hand luggage to be loaded on Plane bcos he said the inside storage may not have enough room for all.

Turkish Airlines apparently no longer gives you 2 checked bags allowance on international flights, so that pleasure cost me $165 for my second suitcase at the airport. On top of that, they damaged that very suitcase, which happens to be a designer one and part of a set - ripped one of the four wheels right off.

Pretty standard for long haul international flying. Food was fine, tv/movie selection was great, wifi did not work at all, crew was pleasant enough.

Very poor service. Not friendly and special food ordered but not served

Beautiful Flight took off on time and everything was good

Next time im going to use Kuwait air lines, hopefully

Comfortable seats. Be aware there is no alcohol on this airline.

Seats were comfortable. Be aware there is no alcohol on this airline.

Every thing was very food except the meal. It was a sandwich of something like a beef kebab. It was really bad in terms of hardness as well as taste. We were a family of 7 persons non of us could eat it his sandwich. Cake was good.

It was very nice flight only suggestions to upload recent videos and English subtitles. Thanks

Wheelchair service is not available right away on Kuwait Airways

Everybody was so nice to treat me good all the workers When I came to Bangladesh there was just a little problem with the luggage but I got my luggage it took like two hours Other than that everything is good

Food quality should be upgrade. Plastic spoons looks like not good as well as food quality not up to the mark.

Everything was great specially the seats was comfortable even I was in the economy and the food was really Great👍
