The departing flight from Newark to Charlotte was fine. It was the returning flight from Charlotte to Newark that was awful. We had scheduled an 8:35pm return flight time. We got delayed TEN times all the way to 5am in the morning! We were told over 4 different excuses as to why the flight kept getting delayed. First it was the flight crew needed to rest, then it was something technical with the plane, then it was something with air traffic control, and finally it was because they couldn’t find a captain and had to wait until the morning so the captain could get some rest. It was terrible sleeping overnight in the airport. They offered a $12 meal voucher. That was it! And the only place open in the middle of the night was Dunkin’ Donuts who didn’t even accept the voucher. They should have cancelled the flight much earlier on in the evening instead of just stringing us along hour by hour with more delays. Not professional and unacceptable. There was no refund for inconvenience. I probably will not be flying American Airlines again.

This leg they tried and did well with what they had to work from.

Due to an issue with the plane. We waited almost 2 hours to take off. The service reps were great. We had a longer layover but was able to run for it and catch our flight. This also happened on our way out. Maybe the planes need a good look over. The people who work front desk and flight attendants are the best

Domestic airlines have really fallen from what they used to be.

The free internet access did not work, so we had to purchase 2 Internet packages. Flight attendants were not proactive in checking in with first class patrons

11h50m total delay. Had to switch to another flight that was still a 7h30m delay.

Everything was ok except that we had to de-ice the plane which took about 20 mins. I realize this is a safety issue, but it caused us to miss a connection in Charlotte by 15 mins which meant a four hour layover. I think the thing that bothered me was American Airlines knew we were only 15 mins late, so couldn’t they have waited for us? There were about 10 of us that had to take alternate planes. I remember recently waiting 15 to 20 mins for passengers connecting with flights we were on. Just wondering why they couldn’t do the same for ours.

The boarding process was incredibly slow, as was deplaning. They started beverage service and there was an extremely small amount of turbulence, so they discontinued it. They said they’d resume if possible, but even thought the rest of the flight was perfectly smooth, they didn’t bother. Getting our checked bags took longer than I’ve ever waited and they couldn’t even tell us which carousel they were coming out on, so everyone was running back and forth for 30 minutes.

Deplaning time. Having to wait 10 to 25 minutes after boarding to leave the gate. Having to wait 10 minutes to park at the gate to deplane.☹️

VERY disappointed at the agent checking in my luggage. I know that the weight limit is 23 kg, a little over 50 pounds (50.71 pounds). Yet the agent kept repeating "50 pounds". So I said, the limit is 23 kg, and she had the audacity to say 'no, it is 22 kg!" Imagine my surprise. Was she ignorant or was she poorly trained? Not sure. The boarding process was pretty good. The speakers were loud enough so I still could hear them despite inconsiderate passengers continuing to speak while the announcements were going on. During the flight, the teenage girl sitting behind me kept pressing her feet to the back of my chair. I turned around several times, yet she did not get the hint. I did not make a fuss since I sense I had a bad streak that night with AA, so I just did the best I can to lean forward and not let that bother me.

The flight was delayed over an hour and we had to sit on the plane. Crew does not apologize due to the delay. Spirit will NEVER do anything to give a customer a better experience. A child next to me was kicking me the whole time. I don't ever enjoy flying with Spirit.

My flight was delayed from 7 pm to 230 am. I was forced to cancel and rebook with Delta. My last day in Aruba. After rebooking with Delta and spending $200 and getting a hotel on my dime, I am not flying Spirit anymore.

Average, boarding was ok, the eye scanner broken mid way through boarding they ahd to do it manually. Did not eat any food, Not even water was offered for free.

Boarding attendant was rude. Crew on the plan were more interested in talking amongst themselves and did not ask parentage if they needed anything or even walk down the isles.

I had a big seat for the same price of premium seat of other airlines. The flight was on time and everything is good.

Flight was ok with exception of the multiple delays. As with all Spirit flights, the sights are extremely uncomfortable and lack leg space. However, the price savings is the plus.

I upgraded my ticket at the ticket counter and was not informed of the huge bottleneck at TSA pre check. It took me over an hour to get through the line at this small airport and although I ran to the gate and reached it prior to scheduled departure, it had already pushed pack. I missed the flight. Spirit rebooked me on a flight to Orlando that evening, which would require me to then rent a car and drive to FLL. For scheduling reasons, I determined it be would better to rent a car in Pensacola and drive it to my destination in FLL. Spirit called me that evening and asked me if I was going to board the plane. I explained no, for scheduling reasons. The person apologized and said I would receive a refund, but I have not heard back. Certainly, I ought to be refunded the upgrade I paid for at the counter.

The staff from LAX to New Orleans were rude but the staff from New Orleans to LAX were nice!

Did what they needed to do. Brought us from point A to point B timely and without issue. Boarding through deplaning smooth.

Direct 2.5 hour flight good. Free snacks and coffee, water, or soft drinks not available...bad.
