I can't check in online that was the worst because then I can't pick my seat. I had the most uncomfortable seat the whole 12 hours and it was awful

Check in online. I always do so I can get aisle seats.

Take special care to manage any connecting flights that might arrive/depart from the Haneda airport, the commute between them can take a long time. Additionally, make special plans for transporting oversize luggage to/from airport.

Excellent service and comfortable seats. Friendly and helpful staff. No food for a 3hr flight over lunch time which was surprising (or is that a feature of domestic flights in Japan?)

Excellent service and comfortable seats. Friendly and helpful staff. No food for a 3hr flight over lunch time which was surprising (or is that a feature of domestic flights in Japan?)

The flight was smooth, but there were not enough options for meals and I was given beef when I do not eat beef. The flight going was much better because we received more snacks.

Thankful for the staff who provided blankets cause the plane was quite cold and no way to adjust the airflow in the seats next to the bathroom.

Uh there was a delay, because of the weather. And what took usually an hour flight to Louisville took about 6+ hours. Flight got canceled

There wasn't much entertainment for my short flight but the onboarding process was smooth and the crew provided wonderful service. The seats were also reasonably comfy. Great flight.

I had to get rerouted because the weather delayed my flight enough to miss both of my connecting flights. I select nearly 2 hours on customer service trying to get rerouted and had to miss my first plane which took my luggage to San Francisco. Luckily, customer service sent me to the same airport but I had to ride 12 hours in economy after I paid extra for premium economy. Totally sucks that I overpaid. Customer service and airplane crew were great and really helpful though. Although I still hate how small the seat was, especially since I'm smaller than average, I can't imagine how much it would suck for an average sized person.

Flight attendant took good care of my mom as she boarded on and off the aircraft from her wheelchair. I did not care much for the food nor the movie options Available. I appreciated the increased legroom available in economy. This was one of the main reasons we chose the airline. Overall, the good value and I would fly again.

I stopped flying with United back in the nineties. Today's experience reminded me of why.

ANA was fine. LAX has some major problems. I needed a wheelchair and BKK and Narita were very good. I do have to remember NOT to tip in Japan. LAX however, was poor. first the attendant wasn't able to push me. The next person left me stranded in several locations. They would just leave me where ever they felt like; No logic to these locations. finally when we cleared immigration, they (there were several people who didn't seem to care about their job) left me in a large room with a baggage carousal. I tried to locate my luggage to no avail. meanwhile my connection was getting closer. I finally talked with Emir from ANA and he showed me to my carousal which was located a few rooms away from where LAX personnel stranded me. Emir also found a good wheelchair attendant to take me the rest of the way. Without Emir from ANA, I would still be stranded, given the amount of care shown by the first wheelchair attendants.

We have had better ANA experience. The crew are friendly.

Everything was made rather simple, so I appreciate that. All the people I dealt with from entering the airport in Jacksonville to my lonnnnnnng walk to my next gate in Chicago were excellent and very helpful.

Terrible. 3 missed flights and 24 hours delayed with lost bag and promised $100 compensation from United and absolutely nothing from them…

They delayed all our flights and lost our luggage flying to Tokyo, Japan. Worst experience I have had with any airline. DO NOT BOOK.

Flight and flight crew were great. Better than most US airlines. Check-in was awful. They repeatedly wouldn't assign seats on the Air Canada flight or print boarding passes for all legs. This was really frustrating. Checked in the day before each direction but they put us on Standby while they juggled seats to upgrade others. This made it really difficult to get seats next to each other which is important when you have 10+ hour flights. Then they would only print boarding passes for their leg even though everything was booked through them. This made Customs in Canada difficult as they required boarding passes for the next flight each way to get through security. Couldn't get them on the phone and slowed everything down and security had to make exceptions for me to print boarding passes as security.

My experience with Air Canada has been horrendous. My first flight was delayed 6 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight thus extending my stay at the next airport for 15 hours because it made me miss my connecting flight. They also added another flight to my trip adding more time to it. Overal my flight duration which should have been 15-16 hours to return home has been increased to 33+ hours and the only thing I was given was a 10 dollar food voucher. Talk about a spit in the face. Air Canada is Probabaly the worst airline I have ever been on. I hope no one ever experience this. I am still waiting to get home and another one of my flight is delayed. I am here fearing that I might miss my other connecting flight that they added to my trip and thus adding more time to my trip.

Flight was fine, 1st plane was a bit old entertainment, 2nd the display was freezing/ crashing every 30min. We had problems getting at gate and waited 2hr to get a gate in Toronto, then had a 90min mechanical delay at the next departure. Weather was bad and I’m just happy we didn’t get stuck.

flight was delayed 6 hours for weather, then cancelled because of the crash in toronto, but none of the links to cancel or rebook my flights are working

Ok Did not like that the second leg of flight was moved earlier making it a rush to make it

Minimal food offered (crackers). Had to clean the seat with a wet wipe because of dried food.

It got to my destination on time. However I don't want to fly Air Canada again. The seat I reserved when I booked was somehow lost by the time of checkin. I specifically purchased a window seat so I could see outside, but the flight attendants made me close my window the whole flight (even during normal daylight hours over Canada), which was disappointing and also made my jet lag worse. Also there were no vegetarian meal options.
