Our flight was diverted to Tahiti because of a medical emergency among the passengers. I appreciated the fact that personal safety was a top priority for the airline. The stopover made our flight 4 hours late for connections in Dallas. I was impressed that the staff on Qantas used that time to arrange rebooking for over 100 families on the flight. Before landing, they came by with a note of our new flight arrangements. Then once in Dallas, our new boarding passes were waiting for us. We had to travel three terminals away to reach the next gate with only 10 minutes to spare. When we reached the lower level, a golf cart was waiting for us and told us to get in because we would never make it on foot. The driver then sped through the terminals calling "Make way! VIP's coming!" We were the last ones to arrive at the gate for an already loaded flight, and we know that it was only because of the excellent staff that we were able to catch the next leg of our flight.

Melbourne is a terrible airport, especially the Qantas counter. All other airlines may have one flight departing from Melbourne on any given day, but maybe 3 to 5 counter staff checking you in. Qantas, on the other hand, has multiple, multiple flights departing all day long but has one queue for all international flights and maybe 5 counter staff processing the 100's of people checking in. Seriously, I've seen shorter lines at Disneyland during peek season. If you want to be treated like cattle, the Qantas at Melbourne Airport is the airline for you.

Our baggage didn’t arrive with us on the plane. Need I say more?

American Airlines was their usual junk service — but at least it got us down to LA. I was more irritated that while they codeshare with Alaska Airlines in Seattle, they could not out our flight on one of these, opting for one of the small SkyWest operated American Eagle flights — and causing a 14 hour layover. Which I accepted due to a $2000 difference in airfare — that said it was irritating for a flight that usually would have cost around $100 extra, if that.

nothing to complain about w/the food, and professionalism of the crew. i just cant stand being on a flight for that long of a time.

Everything was great from the staff to the seats and food. The plane was timely taking off and landing.. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (especially on such a long flight)

Good communication regarding any updates time of flight and flight delayed. The fight was delayed by two and half hours at eleventh hour. That was unexpected, especially when you international passenger.

The service was excellent. The quarters were a little cramped in Economy, and we had to exist there for 18 hours.

Virgin has always provided a smooth and comfortable flight. This one was no different. Seats are comfortable. Staff are great. This is my favourite airline.

Virgin changed the flight to an Alliance flight. Smaller plane, tea coffee and water the only refreshments available and not sure what happened to the extra money I paid to sit in a selected seat with extra leg room. This is obviously a regular switch as it happened on our flight there and back. Do not recommend.

Late boarding, late departure due to weather and slow boarding, packed 5+hour flight, only 2 toilets for main cabin, tight leg room, no free food except tea, coffee, and water, arrived 75 minutes late.

Check-in was good and efficient, Boarding was quick and easy. Didn't like the entertainment side of things requiring your phone to connect for a screen, my eyes are bad enough to use my phone more than I already do. Trip was comfortable and baggage claim was good. If coffee and tea were free, then why not a soda or juice as well, its not like its an alcoholic drink.

The flight was delayed by 45 minutes, but boarding, actual flight, and crew were great. However, there was Zero free food and only water, tea, or coffee to drink. Everything else was for sale. No onboard entertainment but it was a short flight.

Boarding was smooth after a 25 min delay. Notification of delay could be more efficient and change in boarding gate was not notified on the flights board or app.

I wasn’t happy with the hour delay from Dallas to McAllen, but that is the nature of travel. I don’t like to fly in general because of all of the problems all the time.

It went up and down at the right time and place. I’m happy with that outcome.

Most of the delay was due to weather which is not what was at issue here. One delay was due to a missing flashlight and in the end the flashlight was actually found on the plane. The entertainment system is very limited. Live TV options offer only a few channels that are not very appealing. Boarding and deplaning are always difficult. It just takes too much time to get on and off the plane. On the plus side, I missed my connecting flight, but was easily able to book a later flight from the app while enroute.

Terrible. Extremely expensive. Monitor wasn’t working the whole flight 11 hrs and American didn’t offer anything. Change of seats, wifi etc. I’m expecting q compensation from the airline

After several delays and being rebooked onto a layer flight, I had to speak to three AA agents for baggage claim to get an attendant. All were in foul mode and reluctant to assist or offer any assistance.

Lack of communication with customers through the delays and poor audio during boarding. No assistance to serve a number of customers with limited time between connecting flights. Lack of empathy from staff. Rebooked on a flight that seemed solely for purposes of taking those that missed their connection the night before. The hostess at the gate arrived late and never expressed any form of compassion or friendliness toward passengers. Just get them on board, so I can go in with my life. Will never fly AA again.

AA had a nationwide tech glitch today and after two connections snd hours of delay, I arrived 7 hours late to my destination

Was supposedly in main extra (row 10), but the seat spacing appeared to be regular economy (the head rest was blue, as well - same as economy, the seats in front of us had red head rests). Otherwise the flight was good and got in well ahead of schedule.

This was a horrible American Airlines experience, and it discourages me from flying with them again. It may have stemmed from a mechanical delay, but it appeared that the team was unprepared to respond to the delay. After boarding, we waited an hour before finally taking off. After landing at our destination, we waited an additional hour on the tarmac waiting for a gate (at 8:00pm) to be assigned and cleared. The flight crew did their best, but they were clearly tired and also ready to be done for the day. Because of the delay, I missed a connecting flight. It was a very poor experience.

My one complaint was that while we boarded using the standard enclosed gangway, when we arrived at SEATAC, the ground crew were slow to hook up the stairs. After reaching the tarmac we had to walk up a long ramp all outside in 35° weather. We just came from Bali and did not have warm weather clothes. This was in addition to having to collect our bags in Vancouver, take them through security again and then having to show our passports 4 more times all within the Air Canada section.

So we didn't actually go. We were hoping to go for the Inauguration of the first female president. When That Guy got elected, we bailed. Unfortunately, we got basically none of our money back, despite having travel insurance. Would not fly with Air Canada again unless I had to.

I was overcharged either by United or sister airline Air Canada. It's exhausting dealing with companies nowadays that irresponsibly abuse access to credit/debit cards.

Air Canada is not only the worst airline in the business but the worst business in history.
