Alaska and Delta by far have the best service from Seattle to LA, with many flights a day. I honestly prefer Alaska in general, but they codeshare so much with American, whom I generally loathe, that I have been switching my flying to Delta simply to avoid American. American themselves run 2 CRJs a day via SkyWest to LA, and United runs one or two flights as well. The American service is what it is — I only took it due to a vastly lower price for a Qantas ticket to Australia.

SeaTac does not have a very good or equitable system for security lines. First class passengers don’t have a TSA precheck option, while there are only 2 TSA precheck lines on opposite sides of the terminal. Highly recommend getting TSA plus Clear, as the airport heavily favors this combination, with each section of the terminal having one of these options. I almost missed my flight because the only TSA precheck line was about 45 minutes long.

Tight interline connection at LAX - barely made the flight. Directions from AS arrival gate to separate AA commuter terminal for AS codeshare flight connecting to TUS would have been nice.

If you have kids, bring your own screens. We were counting on the inflight entertainment and it was a definite letdown. Also, TSA Pre-check is only available at station 2, but wait times are posted at each station so you can see if it’s worth the walk.

Alaska Airlines needs more bag tag kiosks and bag check-in stations in Seattle. A single entry point for the bag tag kiosks would be helpful. This alleviates lines forming at each individual kiosk, which causes traffic jams for people passing through.

It was raining and cold and we had to walk outside to board the plane. And to have yo stand outside to wait in line to board. It seems they could find another way to send a few people at a time so passengers are not outside in the elements. Then to not have my luggage show up at my finally destination. Not happy with the whole experience.

I paid $49 to select my seat---6A a window seat just behind first class. When I started to get on the plane I was told that my seat had been given to someone else and I now had a middle seat. They finally gave me an aisle seat. When I told them I wanted my $49 back, I was told I would need to call alaska and fight with them to get my money back. And when i was on the flight people going by kept hitting me with their bags. I have tried calling alaska twice to talk about a refund but never got thru to the right person!

Check-in was easy, I did it from the app. Boarding was easy, the crew was great. Santa Barbara airport had a disabled plane so we had to land in Burbank to refuel. They kept us well informed, and everyone was great. A very entertaining person from the Burbank airport got on and told a few jokes.

It went very quickly even though we were late in leaving Fresno.

Like I said before the internet was shut off so there was little to do on this leg of the flight.

Finally get a snack n drinks! Just like the good ole days!

SeaTac was a mess first class check-in not clearly identified Temporary signage needed since only one door into Alaska check-in area directed you to coach baggage check.

We could not find a parking spot in the garage so we left airport to find a parking lot. We were late and afraid we would miss our flight. We were greeted at the new Alaska check in and I was really upset. She got two people to put us in wheelchairs and we flew through the airport and security. Then all the way to the N gate and on to the plane. Somehow they hadn’t taken off. These two individuals deserve a medal for getting us to our flight and onto the plane. It all started with the wonderful greeter at check in. I wish we’d gotten her name and the two who got us there.

Great staff. Wifi is terrible. Signing up for skylines is a painstaking process. Had to call customer service just to get my flight itinerary and confirmation sent to me. Consistent delays. A well staffed company that is run so poorly. Upper management needs to be renewed.

Other then mechanical/ computer problem and 3.5 hours flight delay the flight was great. I guess that what happened when you fly an old airplane now a day.

If I pay extra for "comfort+" I expect leg room where I can stretch my legs. I was seated with an attendant's seat blocking my feet. Knee space was fine but my feet had less room than the non-"comfort+" seats. Also, don't go cheap on food when you have flights of 3+ hours. It's insulting.

Only one side of the heafphone jack work. Crew was friendly and helpful.

Great. Flight departed early and arrived early. Deplaning and baggage claim ww were quick.

They separated our seats and moved us to the back of the plane. Hundreds of dollars and thousands of miles used and this was my platinum member experience.

It was NOT pleasant. Started from checking our luggage to the last time getting off the plane. The crew was not friendly, the food was horrible and the seats were too close to each other that I got a bruise on my knee.

The agents was very rude and they charged me $50 for a carry-on bag saying that it was too big and then I saw someone going on a plane with the same size bag as me

For the most part united was a good experience, how ever when they came by with the snacks and water, they completely passed by my wife and I. As we were in separate rows. On a 5 hr flight we were not offered water

Fantastic crew. Flight was delayed at last minute but we were given updates every 20 minutes and the crew was so friendly and considerate. I miss the touch screens on the back of the seats, wish they would bring that back though.

Awful. Worst airline I have ever been on. Crew were among the rudest people I have ever dealt with. United staff members were rude and disrespectful. My flight was delayed, causing me to miss a connecting flight. I understand things happen, but when staff start lying about what actually happened, that is when I have an issue. Just be honest, really it isn’t that hard. I’m being very honest with this review and I don’t find this difficult what so ever. In fact, because of United Airlines, my Christmas holiday was off to a really rocky start. As someone who has traveled across the world, it has only been United that I have had a truly awful experience.

We arrived early and finally made it to our gate almost an hour after.

We were delayed 3x and because I didn’t purchase my tickets directly from United Airlines I was told I Have to take care of it myself so I called Underpricer and they helped me but before I changed my flights I took the risk of sticking by what my tickets were and was lucky to have gotten on the original all flight with only 15 mins before take off. not sure if I will do this again

Everything good until we waited for jet bridge at SFO. Then pilot gets on speaker & said it won’t reach plane- too short, need to go to different gate. Then 5 min later, adjusted plane/jetbridge & all ok?!?

Your crew is a representation of your Standards and Values. The crew from Seattle to LAX, was very disappointing. The crew was more interested in hanging out at the lobby area. Talking, laughing loudly and eating all the snacks. They did not do regular rounds to see if customers needed anything. This was a huge disappointment. I will no longer be flying with your airlines moving forward.

We got to fly on the new airplane. Much better as it’s roomier and cleaner than before. Most Importantly it’s much more comfortable. I still can’t move the seat back but the extra space made up for it. I didn’t taste the food or drinks because they charge for everything so I didn’t bother. I didn’t experience the entertainment because I downloaded my own movies on my phone. The crew was great. The flight itself was smooth . No complaints.

I was comfortable because I upgraded. I would not have been comfortable in economy. It was a short flight so there was limited food service and no inflight entertainment.

Delayed fight LAS to LAX. OK, fog in LA, not your fault. But all your staff, onboard in in lounge, speak so fast, enunciate so poorly and often have a accent that it is impossible to understanding anything they are saying.

The gate area was terrible at San Diego airport -way too crowded in a small space. Since my husband was driving to our destination, we did not have to take any luggage so my kids and I only had backpacks. Therefore everything was easy and smooth. And we didn’t have to pay up charges for everything and it was a short flight. I tried table was broken and it was a little cramped, but it was fine for what we needed. I probably would not fly spirit on a longer flight and if I had to take baggage.

Boarding procedure is horribly slow. You charge me to check a bag and would not let me carry it on. Charged me to simply select a seat. Charged me for water. Charged me for every little thing on top of paying for an expensive ticket. Your seats are terrible. So uncomfortable, they don’t recline. No WiFi, no way to charge my phone. No entertainment. I mean you Offer noting and you charge for everything. Why would anyone want to fly with you again?

The flight itself was ok and the pilot was very communicative. However, our flight was delayed for almost 3 hours, the gate was changed 3 times and there was no communication as we were waiting. The flight staff was overall a little crabby...I understand as they probably had a long day but we all did.

Everything went as planned. Crew was great. Seats were still not that comfortable.

The plane failed preflight inspection, so we sat there for 90 mins while they tried to fix it. Ultimately, everything was remedied and we made our connecting flight; instead of a 2 hour layover at the airport, we spent it waiting on the plane.
