Food choices were very limited. Taste of the dishes was average.
I liked all the informational texts. I always knew where to go and when .
Received an email the night before showing that there would be seatback entertainment on our flight. We get on and there was no seatback entertainment. And then it was a scramble to try to set up the iPads for the kids before takeoff so they could watch something for the four hour flight.
The reason I don’t fly United. No in seat entertainment for a long flight and inconsistent WiFi and entertainment available from my device.
It was a good flight. Nothing comes to mind about how it could have been better. It was a newer plane, seemed like a great upgrade from your older ones. Staff was very good as well.
The food for long haul was poor compared to Singapore airlines economy. Pasta plain with tomato sauce . Singapore airlines give me Hagen dash small ice cream cup it was great. The choices of dinner course Singapore air also much better The crew mostly friendly. The economy seat are as expected.
The plane was clean. The staff was excellent. The flight attendants were very good. Enjoyable flight. Overall. The seats in the back are too small but, will always be.
Flight was 3 1/2 hour delayed with no credit or meal vouchers
late departure due to some unspecified issue with ventilating the cabin. They got it running but it was FREEZING for the whole flight. I asked for a blanket but they didn't provide one. They could not turn up the heat. it was quite miserable.
Liked that we left on time for each flight. Snacks not the best, but we're okay.
Amazingly comfy flight - I had upgraded for a reasonable price and it was worth it. The food also was good.
Had to wait on pilot and crew to depart and had to wait to arrive at the gate because they only had 2 crews working. Delays, delays....Planes just keep getting smaller and tighter and they nickle and dime for everything. When will an airline actually wake up and make flying more enjoyable?
I paid for what I got which was cheap, I brought my own entertainment. I knew what to expect, so I could be prepared. If you’re flying economy, check in early like me. I have no problems with my flight, was on time, staff were friendly, and overall good experience.
After several delays and being rebooked onto a layer flight, I had to speak to three AA agents for baggage claim to get an attendant. All were in foul mode and reluctant to assist or offer any assistance.
Multiple maintenance delays and the missed and rebooked connection changed gates at least 6 times including one which had us walking 20 minutes to another terminal and then back again. Seated our family of three in different middle seats throughout the plane and then there was an empty seat next to me. Very long travel day which I would have never agreed to if I knew the itinerary would be changed at 5 am, 2 hours before takeoff.
It was as expected for such a short flight. No complaints
It was nice being on a flight that had working wifi. The boarding was quick - why don’t all airlines have small boarding groups window to aisle? Makes so much sense!!! I was disappointed to be the first person stopped to have to gate check my carryon. Especially when there was plenty of overhead space at the back! But I get it…keeps it moving. Crew was nice.
The flight encountered a delay exceeding 4 hours. The food voucher issued was valued at $12, insufficient to cover our meal expenses. Consequently, I was unable to take my medication, leading to a drop in blood sugar levels and exacerbating my anxiety.
Not too impressed with them to be honest. They had forgotten my gf meal, despite the fact that the app had notified me that it was sorted. Apparently there is a ‘glitch’ in the system, according to one of the stewardesses, and has been for a while. Also the legroom in economy is way too small (and I’m a slight person) and are very uncomfortable. An extra Internal flight I booked via the app, had not even given me the option to order a meal, so was unaware of that and left without food on a 9 hr. flight !! Don’t think I’ll use AA again after this.
The flight was uneventful. What was a problem was I was delayed getting home one entire day because the flight from Sacramento was delayed. That made getting to my connecting flight impossible. I had to stay another night at the hotel and incur that expense as a result.
