The flight was late and we missed this connecting flight. American Airlines refused to put us anywhere for the night for their snafu. We had to find our own accommodations in Miami, and it was expensive for a crappy hotel.
The trip was very smooth and they provided great customer service
The plane was late and then sat on the runway for almost 45 minutes before taking off.
Wonderful as usual except for other guests that were unruly and not kept in check by the Crew.
The flight was initially delayed, then cancelled. American Airlines says the cancellation was weather related, though the actual weather was not bad in both Washington and Providence and between. There were very few cancellations that day. In fact, AA2120 from Washington, DC to Boston flew with a minor delay at about the same time. So, the weather somehow affected only this particular flight AA5230. The next available flight was the following morning. The American Airlines refused to reimburse accommodation (hotel at DCA)
I have long legs, my foot was out in the aisle and when a flight attendant came walking by and I didn't notice, instead of saying "excuse me" or anything like that, she kicked my foot. Extremely rude
One bottle of water and a package of cookies for comfort plus. We had to literally beg a flight attendant for an extra bottle of water later in the flight due to feeling dehydrated.
Fine. On time, cabin service was fine, bag arrived. All good. Flying into DCA so did not collide with any helicopters, which is also good. Horrid incident that could have and should have been prevented.
Free wifi was available, but only some time, being at least 30 minutes into the flight. it would have been better that an announcement had been made about the delay.
Cabin was roomy enough to easily slide my carry on under the seat in front of me!
I book a filght for me and my daughter from Miami home to Las Vegas and getting her checked in was awful the lady at the baggage check in was horrible!!! She was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my entire life!!!! My daughter dose not speak Spanish and so I was trying to translate for her but the woman would not let me so my daughter was 100 💯 confused because she could not understand what was going on or being said at all horrible absolutely horrible and rude extremely stressful worst experience ever!!!!!!! And then we were actually told by other air port staff not to complain because if we did sprint would make sure we miss our flight ✈️ that they do it all the time 😧
Not good. No updates regarding the flight status until after the fact on the delays and then a cancellation.
If kayak actually provided me this flight and didn’t just send me notifications about it

Surprising everything went well. Nice attendants and fast getting on and off the plane. Overall, was happy with the experience.
I was surprised by a mandatory bag charge when I checked in at the airport. "Carry-on" wasn't an option eventhough all that I had was a small pilot case. I paid $79 so my bag could fly with me.
Not efficient. Missed my connecting flight over improper operation of spirit crew.
I couldn't understand the crew when they announced it was a new plane and there was therefore no wifi, huh? Seriously lame for 2025!
My experience was very nice. However, my Spirit flight 409 from Las Vegas to Tampa… the gate Associate Tissa was extremely unprofessional and boarder line rude. While in line I found out that my Uncle died… in that moment Tisza asked if I would help in car of an emergency as I paid for an exit row seat. I stayed “I will”… Tissa didn’t hear then implied that I didn’t understand English, yelled that I needed to speak up and other things. Associates like that will cause Spirit airlines to lose customers.
They kept delaying us and not providing any information which cost us hundreds of dollars . We had an event to get to and missed our even that we had paid for along with lots of wasted time and money booking nee flights.
