Wish movie and music choices changed more often. Mostly same from a month or two ago when I last flew.
Overall great. I was forced to check my carry-on backpack from EWR to BOS but it came out on the luggage carousel so fast I didn't even get delayed for my pickup.
Boarding was easy. RDU gates can get crowded, be prepared to be patient. Flight was smooth, with excellent service. Pilots really provided a lot of visibility into flight details. Plane and seats were clean and serviceable. TY!
It was good. Just that the seats could not be reclined. The people behind were not ready to let the chairs be reclined
My flight was delayed. They boarded us, then no sooner were we on the plane, they made us get off again and wait another 45 minutes before doing it all over again.
The negative was the wait at the airport coming back. I checked my bags in, an hour before boarding and I get the notification that my flight was delayed. Rather had gotten the notification while I was at the hotel. Then it was delayed 3 x’s. Ugh!
boarding was uneventful. Snack was pathetic. A tiny fruit bar. Entertainment was limited to just select movies on your own tablet or phone. No live TV. I recently flew Jetblue and they had unlimited snacks and live satellite TV the entire flight. My seat was an exit seat, 20A. It was super uncomfortable. It felt cramped and the middle seat was taken up by a large woman who pushed into my shoulder and arm. Horrible flight.
Never nice, United Express partners always do an amazing job.
A three (3) hour flight should have meal service in First Class, not just potato chips!
The flight from Cleveland to Newark was great. The connecting flight wasn’t so good.
Terrible. 1st and last flight on Spirit. Check in process was a nightmare. Despite arriving 1.6 hours before flight we had to be pulled from the ridiculously long line to “self check” our bags which took 10 min and required assistance. Seats are very uncomfortable , don’t move, no pockets, no entertainment, no wifi Basically like taking a time capsule back to the 70s. No thank you.
It wasn't crowded, leg room was better for me (6'2"), less coughing on board, steady flight. Return flight is already delayed by 1.5hrs and that's not good.
Terrible, they lost my bad and it took three days to get it. First they couldn’t find it at all - Once they found it, the agents wouldn’t put it on the next flight, they kept forgetting. I went to the airport for a few Miami to Newark flights and finally found it. No one ever called to advise that it had arrived. Despite several calls, the bag made it without a tag, so I still had to go to lost and found at Newark. Our Christmas gifts were inside. Never flying with them again.
Horrible I was traveling with two assisted kids will never travel with spirit again
Fast check-in. Went through security quickly enough. Got their early. And the crew took care of my seating at the gate. The cost for 1 checked bag is ridiculous! $79!? Cmon!! The seating on the plane was very cramped, like sardines. I did not want to pay extra just to pick a seat. Might have to next time.
Arrived at 3:45am & found a long line where Spirit employees were standing at the counter but no one was working. Worried if I’d make the flight. Line started moving about 4:15 and got to check my bag at 4:30, realize my flight was at 5:25. Lines thru security were long, got to flight and walked right on. Spirit was cheapest when selected but not after $70/bag and $30/seat - extra $200.
Not acceptable having both flights delayed and not real reason for .. plus paid for luggage and getting my bag ripped out .. very disappointed.
particularly nothing to like plane just turned to be a hmm flying bus, yet in buses from another country at least drink and snack are free ... and seat could be just a bit more ..adjustable? ok ok i know i am asking for too much but ..dreaming is not forbidden yet
Fantastic !!! Seamless boarding. Meticulously clean. We left and arrived early.
Everything is an additional charge. It's bare bones, still at a high cost. Don't plan on flying Spirit again.
