Michael, our FA was very attentive, even finding me a chocolate brownie from economy class when the dessert selections were all dairy based. ( intolerant, not allergic so don’t usually need to order dairy free)

Michael, our FA was very attentive, even finding me a chocolate brownie from economy class when the dessert selections were all dairy based. ( intolerant, not allergic so don’t usually need to order dairy free)

I had a bad experience with the security at IAH and felt like a sardine on all 4 legs of my journey.

I don’t understand the purpose of the orange “priority” tag on my bag. This tagged, my bag is last or near to the last bag to come down the carousel at IAH.

Plane 3 hours late. Missed connection. No help from gate staff. App horrible. Lost connection repeatedly. No service desk. Finally got help from young girl driving cart.

Oh my gosh, I loved my experience with United! they made me want to travel more often.

Everything was good. Flight was on time, luggage pickup was quick. The staff were great. Could not ask for anything more.

The planes are so dirty! Food crumbs and finger print smudges, Dust over the vents and carpet stains. It’s disgusting.

The bag drop personal were not helpful. There was no food on the flight. Boeing aircraft, lousy as always. Everything else was fine.

Asked several times dairy free options and was ignored. Was told chips was the only thing I could have that I should have put it on my profile “which it is”. Very unprofessional. WiFi didn’t work have the flight. Overall a very bad experience.

Smooth boarding. I liked the pilots communicated potential turbulence upcoming.

On time arrivals and departures. Gate boarding notices could be better if displayed on monitor.

Between Las Vegas and Dallas was okay But, once in the Dallas airport, notice, I have disability and ask for a wheelchair, they leave in a middle of nowhere, the personal in charge try to push me on a cart where I couldn't sit because was to high. Then they don't care about me, they bulling, till I start to yelling and crying, ask to everyone around, who can help me. The man in charge make a despective movements and said you are to loosing the fly. The last name in his batch started with an H, I did not have the full name. A nightmare. After all, a woman in charge was walking very slowly and asking me for a tip cause she was helping me to reach the fly. For years, AA has been the preferred airline. The personal in charge of the disabled people are discriminate me. Thank you Kayak.

American Airlines Suck. AA did not deliver us to the airport we paid for to Tulum. Instead, we were flown into Cancun and had to take a shuttle to Tulum. Instead of arriving at 4 PM, we arrived at 11:30 PM - not to mention that our initial booked flight was due into Tulum at noon. The latter flight was canceled and rebooked (to the 4 PM arrival). We lost a day of vacation. Oh, I forgot that AA provided a lunch voucher for $12. Noting, the least expensive item on the menu at the airport restaurant was green beans for $9.99. The return flight from Tulum was delayed two or three times for no reason other than that it was NOT related to the weather. We arrived late for our connecting flight from DFW to STL. Luckily, the connecting flight was delayed. We hurried through Customs and ran through the airport to make our flight to STL (or we would have missed that flight).

Flight was late and missed connecting flight. They could have better accommodated, but instead did an overnight and had to arrive the next afternoon.

2/29/2025: Tulum to DFW. Delay as usual with no explanation from AA. Three friends and I had a connecting flight from DFW to STL. We would have missed the latter without the delayed connecting flight, dashing through customs, and running through the airport. Did I mention our trip to Tulum on American was rerouted to Cancun and shuttle from Cancun to Tulum, arriving at our resort destination at midnight vs the 4 PM scheduled arrival? AA provided a lunch voucher for $12.00. The least expensive menu item was $9.99 for green beans. I will avoid traveling with AA as much as possible.

Awkward carry on process. Forced to check all carry on. No overhead space of worthiness. Left delayed, but made up the time. Crew was amicable.

April was the flight attendant in first class and was the most pleasant, cordial and efficient person I have seen on a flight in years. Good example of the type of people AA should hire to increase customer satisfacdtion.

Two flight changes before the scheduled flight. On the day of the flight, the flight was delayed, which caused the connecting flight to be missed. Then, I was directed to another airport (CUN) and traveled to Tulum. American gave a $12 voucher for lunch. The least expensive item on the menu at a Mexican restaurant was $9.99. Driving to Tulum was a bad auto crash, and traffic was delayed two-plus hours. The bottom line is that we should have been at the hotel at noon, but it ended up at 11:30 PM.

The boarding experience was good; $20 for wifi per flight is uncompetitive compared to Delta, Southwest, and others, and puts American lower on my list given similar pricing.

Flight didn’t get dinner on business. I was starving!

Business class seats did not lie flat. There was only powdered milk for your coffee....in Business Class!! Food was good.

Boarding was somewhat confusing in that the wrong messages were being displayed at the gate. It was somewhat annoying that I got off one flight and straight onto another (from the same gate), but in between they re-checked my hand luggage and made me get rid of my water (which they charge for on the plane). I was sitting in their 'Plus' seating, but the leg room was still too small to be able to sit square. The food options on the flights are pretty cheap quality (but not price). They got me from 'A' to 'B' on-time and for a relatively good price, but the experience itself was below average.

Flew with our two children. Paid $380 to check two bags (one was overweight). They then left the bags behind on Sunday, December 21st, with all our family’s clothes and family Christmas presents. When we arrived at our destination they told us the bags had not arrived, and they thought (but didn’t know) they were still in Boston, but that there’d be a flight the next day and the bags would arrive the next day. The next day we found out there was no flight, now we’re hoping we get our bags before we fly back out. Meanwhile, trying to get any engagement or accurate information is a waste of time. The folks at the call center are just gatekeepers, who can’t connect with any departments that actually do things to solve a problem. Getting information is made deliberately difficult. My biggest regret is that I’ve had a number of awful experiences with Avianca traveling between the US and Colombia, and still let myself get suckered into buying these tickets because the schedule was great. Never again.

please see previous response; it covers the whole travel trajectory.

I enjoyed it! In that case, I should have been offered this choice. On my first trip to Miami, I was asked to pay $320 for my luggage just for getting it totally broken. I cannot accept this situation at all!!!!

Overpriced checked bag price of $120 and they charge you for carryon if the size is not minimal of $120.

Boarding, crew and food. Seats are too small Love Avianca

Horrible. I have been trying to speak to a representative to know why I was over charged but I get redirected to AI Vianca everytime with no results. Is there an agency that oversees airline gouging? I will never fly or recommend Avianca to anyone not that you care.

Felt very cramped in the back of plane. There was an hour delay for take off sitting on the runway, but we did arrive on time. They charge $120 for carry on bag and backpack at the airport its ridiculous.

Same experience, very poor food, drinks or entertainment while flying. There are some products offered to buy but only using debit or credit cards . No friendly for seniors or people without cards.
