I recently flew Southwest from San Jose to Honolulu. I was very impressed with the flight crew, especially the flight attendant in charge of the front of the plane. She came through the aisle at least five times for drinks and water, and two times for snacks. I have not seen such service since I flew first class. Also, for the first time, they gave us the correct baggage claim number, and the luggage came out quickly. I can't wait for Southwest to have assigned seating! I absolutely hate the Cattle Call boarding procedure and the mad dash to get seats and overhead bins. However, the boarding was efficient.
Crew was great flight was great baggage claim was a failure. It took over 1 hour for bags to arrive. Poor communication poor effort when I spoke to the supervisor about the delay

Fine, but how to board on SW versus othrr airlines, is just lame. Goood staff though and all was solid otherwise.
The movies using Southwest WiFi kept pausing and I had to restart multiple times.

For the first time in a long time we had a flawless experience with Southwest. Both flights were early and no mechanical errors at all. We were shocked and pleasantly surprised 😮.
It was fine. For some reason the flight was much longer than usual. It may have been explained, but I had noise cancelling earbuds on and missed a couple of announcements. The crew was fine, but there was a flight attendant who kept telling dumb jokes, occasionally one I found distasteful. This was my second time with him, but luckily it was a late flight so he didn't do as many. But I heard all of today's jokes twice, which was two times too many. Good takeout and landing.
One of the crew performed a hilarious skit to accompany the standard instructions. Passengers enjoyed it so much they applauded at the end!
I flew from San Francisco to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines. The flight was operated by Alaska Airlines. Everything was fantastic. On the return flight from Honolulu to San Francisco, boarding was chaotic. They called each boarding group 1 through 6 very quickly, and everyone just ran and got in a very long line. There was no enforcement of boarding groups. Carry-on rules were not followed, and by the time I boarded the plane, there was barely any overhead space. I was boarding group 4. The crew was very professional, and the Hawaiian Airlines terminal in Honolulu was beautiful. I wish the rest of Honolulu Airport looked like the Hawaiian Airlines Terminal.
From my interactions with the Oakland airport staff through TSA through the gate agents to the flight crew on Hawaiian they were just so kind professional and helpful.. the only thing I would add would be the they need more help and TSA and on the Hawaiian airlines flight it would be so much nicer for them to play beautiful Hawaiian music on the way over there.. they didn't start playing it until right before we landed..

I flew from San Francisco to Honolulu on Alaska Airlines codeshare with Hawaiian Airlines, with a Hawaiian Airlines plane and crew. The flight was well organized, including boarding and deboarding. The crew was professional. Unfortunately, the charging ports at my seat and the seat next to me were broken. The Hawaiian airline terminal was a pleasant surprise compared to the rest of Honolulu airport.
We were amazed by the amazing food, comfort and service received in our coach seats. Pleasantly surprised we received breakfast and great beverages for no charge. Bag check fee was on $35. The crew was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Always delayed, inadequate availability of room for baggage but the crew were good & approachable.
You sold me a $230 seat upgrade. But it was exactly the same seat as the $89 upgrade. The bait and switch seems to have become common practice.
The boarding was stressful without paying extra for an assigned seat. The staff were helpful but the process is unacceptable.
Going to Kahalui was wonderful. Attendants were awesome. Coming home, I was bumped from the seat I originally booked. Imagine my embarrassment as I stood there knowing I booked my flight a month earlier. All in all, I didn’t allow that spoil a wonderful weekend in Maui with family.
The flight from LAX had broken AC; they deplaned and sent everyone to a gate with no agents, so I called HA to try and get rebooked. Customer service was great; I at least was not being put up in a hotel for a night this time. If I hadn’t called, well, that original flight I was on got cancelled before I landed in HON. The result was arriving over 7 hours late and missing a half day of an appointment I should have easily made even with a small delay.

Boarding was efficient and everyone helped with putting luggage in the over head compartments. The crew distributed food and drinks well.

We are a family of three, bought two economic tickets for me and my teenager daughter, a business ticket for my elderly mum who doesn’t speak much ENGLISH. During the flight my teenager walked up the plane wanting to chat with her grandma, stayed a bit and my mum consequently wanted to exercise so she walked down to our cabin too. My mum sat with me and chatted for about fifteen minutes then i went to business to check on my daughter only to find out she was not there. I was met with this extremely rude Hawaii Air flight attendant, after i told her my daughter is missing she couldn’t care less, she told me we can’t swap seats and insisted that i immediately return to the economy cabin. But then my daughter was still no where to be found! i explained and hoped that they could at least suggest some way to find her such as announcement or something, but the following words came out of her filthy mouth: “ Go back to your seat immediately! this is the last warning!” WTF?! i can’t believe this is the way Hawaii airline is treating their passengers and we paid business class fees! Very insufficient and incapable flight services as well by the whole crew. Overall extremely unpleasant flight experience! i will definitely spread words about this to ALL my family and friends and colleagues you name it. Never fly Hawaii Air ever again! Never!
Enjoyed every stage of travel and really loved the free WiFi on the international flight. I would only make one recommendation. There was a lot of young children under 2 on the flight. Loud crying screaming and just playing. Constant poopie diapers. These families were spread through out the plane. Some of the passengers with no patience actually yelled at these parents unfortunately. I would recommend keeping all the families with young children in the same part of the plane if possible that way the passengers that complain can be relocated. In this situation there was no part of the plane that didn't have a noisy child. Any ways I will be flying Hawaiian airlines again because the service was just that good!
Friendly crew, flight left on time and arrived early. Had problems with using in flight entertainment on my iPhone, could not get it to work, with WiFi available. Liked being able to charge my phone. Overall a good experience!
It was a bit cold. The worst thing was the insecticide spraying which we were not notified about before the flight. There was no choice of complimentary food. I'm a vegetarian, and the food had meat. The seats were comfortable. The movie selection was nice. I'm glad I brought a headset, as none was offered. The flight times were very good.
