Ground staff were excellent They helped to re book when our flight was canceled
The food for long haul was poor compared to Singapore airlines economy. Pasta plain with tomato sauce . Singapore airlines give me Hagen dash small ice cream cup it was great. The choices of dinner course Singapore air also much better The crew mostly friendly. The economy seat are as expected.
First flight was delayed taking off and delayed getting to gate when we landed. Therefore made the connection time very stressful. barely made it to the connecting flight. We were forced to check our carry on luggage. Then you lost one of pieces of luggage when we got to Detroit.
I was not aware that I have to pay for the checked bag on the return flight. It was included in the price when I bought the ticket
Some of the issues with my UA flight to a connecting flight: United said the SF to Frankfurt flight was getting late making us miss 10:50 flight and could only put us on a flight that left at 4:15 PM from biz to coach. then they canceled the ticket on the connecting flight. I didn’t have a seat, etc., etc., and over an hour dealing with UNITED blaming Lufthansa and Lufthansa pointing to UNITED. The flight itself was fine (food sucked) and we landed in time that I could’ve made the 1050 flight. but the LH gate agent said I couldn’t get on because United issued the ticket and only they could change tix back. Gave up and wasted the next five hours plus of our vacation and ended up being totally wiped out by the time we reached the hotel.
Flight was on Lufthansa, a United partner, after United cancelled our flight TWICE, and was great. Would fly Lufthansa anytime!
The next flight, Frankfurt to Washington, was the slowest most disorganized boarding and due to that flight was 3m min late and people missed connections
Quality of service and maintenance has declined since my last trip before COVID.
The incoming flight was delayed so boarding didn’t happen on time. Upon landing in Munich, we couldn't pull up to a gate so we had to disembark on the tarmac and be bussed to the main terminal. This caused a mad rush for me and others who were making connecting flights to get to our new gates, and my bag didn’t get over to the new plane in time.
Flight delayed. They made no attempt to get our luggage to our connecting flight so I am without necessities after they begged me to check in my bag. Still dont have it.
I am not sure I like the new Discover line of Lufthansa. I have been flying from us to Italy for the past 30 years and always favored Lufthansa ove other Companies because of cleanliness, service, food, beverage. When compared white other airlines Lufthansa was always considered one of the best. I can't say that anymore. I fly Lufthansa only because I consider the line MCO to FRA timely convenient for my schedule but always look for alternatives when before I was considering other routes only if the price was in question.
Crew and service was excellent. My seat was super small and cramped! No leg room
Staff was great. Space in bathrooms was very good. Boarding went smoothly due to aisles. I would like more room in coach. 2 more inches would be helpful. Lost luggage was a big issue; more on the administrative side than flight related, but diminished the flight experience.
Good but entertainment system was not easy and very buggy
Flight was cancelled and I got rebooked with anther airline. Also had booked a direct flight and got a layover.
Very nice. Crew was excellent and our seats had great legroom which we paid extra for so I highly recommend this option when flying internationally.
Zero legroom or space in economy. Flight was delayed into Munich causing a missed connecting flight and other missed bookings. :(
They gave us free up grade to a roomier seat.
A major problem at the Frankfurt terminal. You see your connecting flight is on concourse A and you see signs for A, but when you start to walk out to A, only then do you find A is in another terminal which requires a bus ride, passport control and customs. If you sit around in the first terminal too long, you can miss your flight. We made ours.
Staff very helpful. Seat comfortable. Food generous and pretty good.
