Boarding for Alaska Airlines is always chaotic with many people crowding the gates. Arriving in on Alaska in Los Angeles is always interesting since there is never a gate available. So the planes are often parked all the way out on the west side of the airport while waiting for the gate to be cleared of the departing plane. This flight was no exception.
Flight was delayed twice, I was forced to check my bag, and the only offered water or apple juice on the flight
I needed to board early and that was no problem. The snack was just ok. Alaska is an EXCELLENT airlines . . . luggage fast and easy.
It was an easy flight. However we did have a few delays, mainly due to weather
Alaska Airlines needs more bag tag kiosks and bag check-in stations in Seattle. A single entry point for the bag tag kiosks would be helpful. This alleviates lines forming at each individual kiosk, which causes traffic jams for people passing through.
The flight was delayed over two and a half hours thus causing me to miss my best friend’s funeral. All because the flight crew had to get more rest. That was the reason stated. I understand however very unfortunate. Glad everyone is well rested and resting in peace.
The flight from San Diego to San Jose gate 28A The two persons working there didn’t even turn on the display board. The display board saying to Sacramento. When I asked she was rude and showed the board . Then he realized And changed. Every one was confused because we are running late to catch that flight coming from IAD. Very irresponsible staff.
All good except both the outbound and return flights were delayed about 1 1/2 hrs.
Not great. My flight was canceled due to a mechanical problem and I could not get rebooked for the same day. I needed to get to my destination yesterday, not today. I was able to book with another airline but it was a layover and ultimately a 1 hour flight took me 12 hours. Normally I like Alaska much more than Southwest, but Southwest came through with a not terrible price for same day.
It was raining and cold and we had to walk outside to board the plane. And to have yo stand outside to wait in line to board. It seems they could find another way to send a few people at a time so passengers are not outside in the elements. Then to not have my luggage show up at my finally destination. Not happy with the whole experience.
If I pay extra for "comfort+" I expect leg room where I can stretch my legs. I was seated with an attendant's seat blocking my feet. Knee space was fine but my feet had less room than the non-"comfort+" seats. Also, don't go cheap on food when you have flights of 3+ hours. It's insulting.
Only one side of the heafphone jack work. Crew was friendly and helpful.
Great. Flight departed early and arrived early. Deplaning and baggage claim ww were quick.
They separated our seats and moved us to the back of the plane. Hundreds of dollars and thousands of miles used and this was my platinum member experience.
AC barely worked on a 50 minute flight. It was very warm the whole flight. Flight was very bumpy and hard landing.
Got on the plane and then needed to deboard the plane because they didn’t have any pilots?
The flight was canceled two hours before departure, it took over five hours to rebook us on another flight.
Rough day of travel all the way around. Wrong info given to us multiple times and mistakes in their booking making our trip 10 hours longer than planned. I’m bummed because I fly Delta all the time and love them. Mistakes happen. Just bummed that this was a rare trip our whole family was traveling together.
Meh. A late flight meant I missed my connections, and a 2pm LAX arrival turned into gettin in after midnight.
It was good until there was a 3 hour delay because there was not any pilots to fly the plane.
