better announcing at the gate prior to boarding and better organization of various gps
This time, I traveled in the economy, and it was surprisingly better than the eco-premium (food, comfort, and crew were noticeably worse in premium!)
Lots of water brought around by staff which is very important to stay hydrated on a long flight. There provided swiss chocolate icecream! The attention to detail is obvious. They really want to make their passengers entertained and comfortable.
overall the flight was good and we were happy they waited for us. However, our luggage didn t make it and this caused us a lot of problems.
This was an upgrade to business class and really enjoyed the experience. Much better than my earlier flight and thank you.
It was a pleasant experience accept temperature in the plane It was extremely cold in the airplane that I was shivering I got sick because of the extreme cold temperature on my flight
Crew was wonderful, snacks were so good and quite a variety for free, food was mediocre, big selection of movies and they kept lavatories pretty clean throughout the flight
It was unclear that additional passport control was needed before boarding. The seats were cramped and uncomfortable even for small persons. The arm rests were unable to be lifted completely out of the way and the media controls cut-out made them uncomfortable to lean on. One audio channel was not working on one of our seats.
Flight was very full and we had to checkin our carry on. Stuff however promised us that our luggage will be the first one to come out and it did
Great food - movie selection was good. Plane was a few minutes late but got to destination on time.
The Lufthansa app needs a whole revamp flight got delayed and it kept showing original time. Communicate better with you customers
I am not sure I like the new Discover line of Lufthansa. I have been flying from us to Italy for the past 30 years and always favored Lufthansa ove other Companies because of cleanliness, service, food, beverage. When compared white other airlines Lufthansa was always considered one of the best. I can't say that anymore. I fly Lufthansa only because I consider the line MCO to FRA timely convenient for my schedule but always look for alternatives when before I was considering other routes only if the price was in question.
It wasn’t bad but it was not excellent either. The airlines are trying to save as much money as possible and we are paying price for it. Flying is not as it used to be.
New and clean plane, lots of entertainment on IFE. Boarding was chaotic, maybe because of the size of the gate area. Plane arrived half an hour late.
Crew and service was excellent. My seat was super small and cramped! No leg room
Because of the fog at the Frankfurt airport, our flight was delayed leaving Budapest. We only had 20 minutes to get from A23 to C13. This was quite a walk for this not-so-young anymore lady--even with the help of moving sidewalks! We also had to go through passport control and then security. Germany is extra thorough, even doing pat-downs of all passengers. We got to our gate and I knew I had been randomly selected for extra security scanning because of the "SSSS" code on my boarding pass so I wasn't surprised when he escorted me back to security to be searched some more. The boarding gate gentleman assured me that they would hold the plane. The ladies in security rushed through the scanning process as fast as they could and we were able to make our flight to Orlando. The actual flight was smooth and comfortable. The food and service were excellent. The flight crew were friendly and efficient.
The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.
Good but entertainment system was not easy and very buggy
Flight was cancelled and I got rebooked with anther airline. Also had booked a direct flight and got a layover.
SAL to FRA - Original flight was cancelled less than 10 hours before scheduled. Did receive lodging at no cost for 1 night. Coordination between Lufstansa and hotel was very poor and we had to pay for a meal we thought was to be paid for. Traveling from SAT to Denver coordination between Lufstansa and United was very poor and we paid double for our check-in baggage. We are hoping to that refunded. We wish other airlines would fly to Salzburg as we plan to visit more often.
