I like American Airlines for international flights. There economy seems more spacious and accommodating. Also, immigration in Frankfurt can be crowded, give yourself plenty of time. I saw several people miss their connecting flights.

I tried Condor it was better than Discover. Lufthansa has really gone down I will start looking at different airlines to fly to Frankfurt. Also I’ll probably bypass Frankfurt airport since it is a nightmare and travel to Munich instead.

Try to upgrade. The international facilities at the airport post security are very busy and unpleasant. Try to book into a lounge if you can although you may need to upgrade to business class. the American Airlines lounge is pay on the day but it costs $150 per person.
