When we went to the lounge they told us to go into the main lounge and not the full business class section, later they told me that Lufthansa wont pay the full fee to alloq the business class passengers entry to the nicer sectikn where all the other airlines nusiness class passengers go into. Very poor arrangement.
It was my first experience in business class. It was everything I expected and more. Service was impeccable, food was delicious and I felt rested once I arrived to London
Using the media screen in economy class is a disaster
New and clean plane, lots of entertainment on IFE. Boarding was chaotic, maybe because of the size of the gate area. Plane arrived half an hour late.
The flight was about 10 minutes late which made it kind of tight for connection in Frankfurt. One think that was helpful for my husband and I since we don’t speak the language was when we got off the shuttle bus, two ground crew told us very clearly how to make the connection.
Not the best overall, had challenges during boarding due to the weight of my carry-on (over 8 kilos). Interesting enough they don't check all carry-on bags. It was very stressful as Discover worker kept insisting, I had to check my bag. I finally was able to get an exception to keep my carry-on, however, I felt racially discriminated and embarrassed by this. The flight did not have WIFI access and the timing to connect between flights is not enough. As the flight leaving Philadelphia to Frankfurt was delayed, I had about an hour to make my connection. I had to run and ask people to let me go first during immigration and security so I could then barely make it to my next flight, and it was the same process on the way back. It was a disappointed experience overall.
It was terrible, I was denied to board the plane because I don't have Germany visa, but I don't know I need a visa because all I want is go back to united state and I don't need to enter Germany. When I buy the ticket and checking in I entered my Chinese passport information and I did not get any notifications that I need apply for Germany visa. This trouble is generated totally by Lufthansa and they don't offer any useful help to solve my issue which cause huge problems to my travels.
They separated me from my kids We were checked in to fly from Vienna to Frankfurt and Washington DC final destination but separated my wife and kids sent them to Barcelona instead then Washington DC They end up traveling for 26 hours Horrible experience Never Austrian Airlines/Lufthansa again!
The check in staff was excellent. Some of the ground crew at Bengaluru airport that Lufthansa has outsourced to are terrible. The airport security removed my 2 power banks and set it aside from my check in luggage but they ground staff refused to go pick it up despite the airport security confirming it’s waiting for them to pick them up. I was very disappointed by their utter disregard for customer service and unwillingness to help me.
After a bad experience of traveling with United airlines long time ago I decided to give them a second chance. And again it was bad. The flight from Jacksonville to Washington was almost 4 hours delayed. Due to that my flights to Munich and Warsaw had to be rescheduled. As a result I had to travel through Frankfurt. And my checked in luggage did not arrive from Frankfurt to Warsaw with me. Warsaw was not my final destination and I had to figure out a way to deliver my luggage to my destination. On top of everything my Delsey luggage got 2 cracks. Is anybody going to be responsible for that???
