Check in was easy through self-check-in kiosks just like domestic flights. Staff onboard were fantastic. Some "book the cook" good options weren't great, others really good. Entertainment options a bit limited to what I've experienced on Qantas. Overall a good flight though, especially for the price.
The staff on Singapore Airlines was incredible. I would like to commend LS Reuben from my SQ37 flight on November 19th, 2024, from LAX to Singapore, for his outstanding service and care. During the flight, one of my earbuds—brand new and valued at nearly $300—fell out and became lodged in the box controlling the in-flight entertainment system. I was understandably upset, but Reuben went above and beyond to assist me in this tough situation. Reuben demonstrated exceptional determination and empathy. Instead of suggesting we wait for an engineer, he immediately took action, spending almost 30 minutes searching for the earbud. He even got down on the floor to ensure it was recovered. His genuine concern and persistence made all the difference and turned a frustrating situation into one where I felt truly valued as a passenger. Reuben is a shining example of the remarkable service that sets Singapore Airlines apart. His dedication and willingness to go the extra mile left a lasting impression, and I want to sincerely thank him for his kindness and professionalism.
The food options and quality could use some more excitement and variety.
Really enjoyed the flight. Our flight attendant on the way back SIN-LAX was exceptional I didn’t get her name but she was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I had a bit of a panic attack and she checked on me a few times to make sure I was ok. Really appreciated her attention and service. Thank u
Timing very good from sfo to Singapore and service was awesome and economy class seats are great overall very good experience thanks
The crew and their service was top notch, but the plane itself seemed to be on the older side and worn out. Also, the food could’ve been better. 9 out of 10.
The staff were amazing and very kind. The seats recline a little too far back and are up close when sitting behind.
We flew business class. It was excellent. For a 6’4” individual, the seats were slightly uncomfortable for sleeping. But this is only comparison to other business class seats. Otherwise, the crew was incredibly attentive, And the service was impeccable.
The booking experience was bad. Our six character booking ID number disappeared the day before the flight, We could not find out what happened or what was the status of our flight, scheduled for the next day. We finally found the right number to contact Singapore Airlines on the matter (not easy). The Singapore agent worked through the issue in a little over thirty minutes on the phone, the day before the flight. That was great. I'm very happy with Singapore Airlines and their performance. Contact with a competent person on the matter was near impossible. It seems no one in business these days wants to deal with customers once they've pocketed the money. There were resellers, including Kayak, involved in the chain. When we finally got through to Underpricer, we did get a return call that could have proved helpful. But by that time the matter had been resolved by the Singapore agent. Majestic Vacations, the reseller who received the payment was less than worthless. That's just a fast buck operation. Ugh.
It was a middle of the night changeover, so we were all ready for sleep. Staff were helpful and managed a few hours sleep. Food options were good.
