The crew seem untrained and uncertain no one ever checked up on us in our first class cabin. I had to ask for water four times and the lady kept saying she was busy when they weren't really doing anything. Had to walk to the back of the plane to get water for myself. Crew seem new and unexperience. You can tell this by the fumbling they kept making trying to fight. (I miss Hawaiian air.)
Terrible. Would never fly again. Took them several hours to prepare the plane and and reached my destination 4 hours late.
Our boarding was delayed due to two flat tires, but I appreciate the focus on safety. I also appreciated the additional offerings for drinks which never happened before except on Hawaiian Airlines. The hospitality is fantastic! Glad I upgraded to premium seats for the extra leg room as I was getting frustrated when the person in front of me was very restless and kept shifting. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience.
Awful. We got the last seats and they don't recline. We've been on this horrible journey since 6am and won't get to our destination almost a full day later. Oh and no food, either. Never again.
Paid for first class, but the flight attendant for first class did the minimum required. She really ever came to pick up the trash, and never asked if we needed anything. Every person had to ring for the flight attendants if they wanted any extra drinks. When I went back to use the restroom, she was just sitting on her phone.
We purchased tickets and were last to board while standby passengers were boarding before us. The WiFi wasn't working and the same thing happened on our last Alaska flight. The snack provided was vegan I wasn't going to chance eating that on a 6 hour flight incase it didn't agree with me.
The ground crew stocking the plane should have put some water on the plane at the very least. The cabin crew made no attempt to remediate the freezing interior for 5 hours. They had the temerity to tell passengers that they( the crew) liked the coldness of the 5 hour flight.
My experience with Alaska Airlines hasn't been great. My flight was delayed twice and my luggage was lost.
A Basic airline that mimics Southwest, charges a la carte for checked bags at $30 each, charges for in flight meals on. 5 hr flight, offers trivial snacks. Also assigns a zone for seating then makes rear zone board last ! whats the logic there? After landing had to wait 15 min for gate to open. Deboarding took 20 minutes. Had to wait for Baggage for 30 minutes. Not my type if airline or flight.
The crew members were wonderful. When we encountered a little turbulence, the pilots let us know and provided an estimate of how long it would last. Another nice amenity: every seat has AC power outlets and USB ports. It was a 6-hour flight, which seems a bit much for a single-aisle jet: over 200 passengers with access to only 3 restrooms (assuming you time it right and won't be blocked in by beverage carts); food is mediocre, over-priced, and (if you failed to reserve a meal ahead of time) the flight attendants have to process food/meal sales in the aisle. To access any entertainment, you must use your own device to log on to the plane's wi-fi (or bring your own entertainment).
