Cons. Dark dirty and unwelcoming. I pulled into the parking lot at 8:15 after driving 500 miles in 15 hours. About 600 miles less then my goal. Still in my car I went online to reserve a room. I originally requested an encomomy single, and begin filling out the usual info. When I proceeded to check out the room they just offered me was no longer available. Of course, what are the odds? so sick of B's like this being the norm. Yup got suckered into dropping $157.00 to take a nap for 5 hours. And I will get back to you on how much my tetnis shot I s going to cost.
Pros. The staff was friendly an the room was a nice soz. The whole building was clean and nice.
Cons. I have stayed at many roadside hotels for business and pleasure. This was the absolute loudest road noise you can imagine. TV couldn’t block it out. I know the staff knows about it because when I checked in - without me asking first - they said “ I’m so sorry to tell you all the rooms left are on the highway side. I barely slept. Trucks shifting gears woke me several times. I felt like I was on a highway.
Pros. The hotel seemed clean and safe, and was close to the highway, making it a good place to stop for a night on a long road trip. Breakfast options seemed more extensive than at other Hampton Inns. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating our request for a room on the side of the hotel facing away from the highway. We had no issues bringing our pets in (just be sure you let them know in advance!)
Cons. The bed was a little harder than in other hotels, but did not make it difficult to sleep. Others might find the beds too firm, though.
Pros. It's clean and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large and include a microwave and refrigerator which is convenient for traveling.
Cons. We got a room on the side of the highway which was pretty noisy and unfortunately we had a toilet that didn't flush :-( I'm sure we could have requested a different room but by we discovered both situations (the noise too difficult to fall asleep & the toilet not flushing) we had already unpacked and it was late so we just stayed put. When we mentioned the inconvenience of the toilet the next day, we weren't offered any adjustment to the bill or future discount on a stay.

Inquire About Housekeeping Services
