Looks like Marriott bought a pig, slapped their name on it and updated NOTHING. Disappointing.
Pros. This time everything was bad , the room smelled bad , the food was cold and lots of people with out gloves no safety precautions also I found two cockroaches in the room , I did no got welcomed as a Hilton rewards, a/c unit make noise all night, this place have gone down it used to be my preferred hotel in Tucson now I have to look for another place. Sorry that I didn’t like anything this time and to make it even worse the morning I checked out the front desk lady was more concerned about something else that she just told me to drop the keys in the little basket and she went back to whatever she was doing.
Cons. Everything could be better,
Pros. There was grab bags in the morning due to the pandemic. They attempted to compensate. Good location.
Cons. Cleanliness could've been better. We found a dirty sock in between the bed and window. Also toys stuffed in the bed like it wasn't remade. Bed was not so comfy.
Cons. Only due to this epidemic is staff short so certain amenities were not available. Could not be helped
Pros. Friendly staff. Security with the outside gates for entry was very nice. The rooms all face inward to the outdoor courtyard so all room doors technically enter from outdoors, but with the gate surrounding the exit areas you are safe within the open area inside. The room was spacious and very clean. Plenty of towels, pillows, and other necessities. A very nice room overall. We did not visit the heated pool, but it appeared very inviting and clean.
Cons. The hot water seemed to use up very quickly, and the air conditioning was sub par. We set it for 69 degrees and upon returning after a few hours, it was still warmer inside the room than the outside temperature. It never seemed to cool down, just blew room temperature air around. I know that breakfast was not included, but I feel that $12.95 for a buffet is a bit steep. Make it affordable for all guests who choose your hotel. That said, it was nice that there is an onsite restaurant, actually located right in the middle of the courtyard.
Cons. My party and I were almost turned down this stay because this site did not mention that this hotel's policy is to only book for 21+. Please update the sites to include the check in age so this does not happen again.
Pros. Courtyard, staff, breakfast
Cons. The room was outdated, furniture soiled and worn, drapes coming off rod, windows dirty, cigarette burns in bathtub, and room smelled badly. I have been in several lovely Embassy Suites, but this one is a poor representation of your corporation. I cannot ever recommend after this experience. I was quite disappointed.
