I was disappointed I didn’t get the car I reserved. Customer service sucks. While doing the paperwork I noticed they were closed on Sunday which is when I was planning on returning the car and I was told just drop off the keys in the box. I then waited almost 30 minutes for them to bring me the car. The attendant gave me the keys and walked off. I then took pictures of existing damage and drove off. At the first traffic light I noticed the fuel tank was only 1/4 full. Not seeing a phone number to call I went back to the office to inquire and was told the fuel level is on the back of the key. I’m now behind schedule as it has taken over an hour to get the car and find a gas station. Super annoyed! Then my son gets into the back seat and cuts his hand on an piece of broken glass!!! Then when I returned the car in realize I had been given no instructions on where to park and the office was closed. Very annoyed with hertz.

Cons:

Hours limited, opened at 9AM for drop off. Actually, opened late, was number 4 in line. Clerk was helpful and courteous but late opening put me in time crunch.

I would've appreciated picking up the vehicle on a full tank of gas. I didn't like having to get it, being on a time schedule then having to stop to fill up the vehicle. It was at half a tank when I picked it up.

The car was very clean and the pick-up was fast once we were helped.

Cons:

Time management and organization from the associates could be better. They seemed a bit frazzled and disorganized during pick-up and drop-off. They kind of bulldozed through each customer. One associate was loudly smacking gum and pretty aggressive with us. During pick-up, it took about 20-30 minutes to get helped after my set appointment time.

Kamal was great! Very helpful and friendly. The other man that helped me was very helpful I think he was a manager wearing a gray enterprise shirt. After hours drop off is easy and very convenient.

Cons:

Pricing is a bit steep for type of car I got.

Location of facility was not bad.

Cons:

Low staffed location, took very long to get vehicle. Did not get my compact car which I wanted "to easily navigate LA streets. Was put in a pick up truck which had stains on driver seat and front / rear carpets. Drop off was horrendous. No one present in car return. Was told by multiple staff that someone was outside at podium to receive returns and there wasn't. Was forced to be rude to staff members in order to have someone do my car return. Will not rent from this location again.

It took FOREVER. Could Budget be less efficient? I was behind a Romanian with a Maryland driver's license and Budget couldn't cope. Then my agent slow walked my forms. Then I got ferried to another facility where I waited while the car was cleaned. This was during my lunch break from work.

Reserved a luxury SUV (Audi Q5 or equivalent was stated). When I arrived I was given the choice of only two SUV’s, both Ford Expedition Max. The vehicle is the biggest SUV Ford makes…6000lbs, 7 passenger and 20’ long. Not a luxury SUV and a gas guzzler averaging 13 mpg. You need a step ladder to climb into the vehicle. Was not a pleasant experience trying to drive and park that thing around Charleston SC.

The agent I worked with at the counter when picking up the vehicle was excellent, and I am sorry, but I don't have her name handy. Hopefully, you all can see that from the paperwork and will give her kudos, as she did a fantastic job and was super friendly and helpful. She is a valuable asset to your company. I watched her work with the customers before me, and they left with the same sense of gratitude that I had when I finished working with her. Especially after the day I had been traveling.

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

We felt fortunate to get our rental. There were only two agents working, by the time our delayed fight arrived, and the customer lines were very long. We were relieved to get a car, despite the fact that many customers did not. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful.

I have never waited so long to pick up a car with a reservation already made. The location is either under staffed or they are just so slow. One customer representative specifically and aggressively trying to get costumers to pay more, to upgrade to expensive cars, pay for fast lane, add insurance. He is using fear tactics and it slows down the line highly.

They refused my credit card saying it was debit. Indigo although a crappy card is only a credit card. Coachella was going on and I think they just wanted to rent it for more since I planned ahead. Stay away from these guys.

Getting to the Midway rental office from the airport is a bit confusing and poorly marked/explained. You take an airport bus from the arrivals to a parking lot down road from the airport, and then the rental car companies routinely come by and use vans/large SUVs to bring people from that parking lot to their specific rental location. The check out line was long and slow (about 35-40 mins of waiting), but once I got to counter it was smooth and it took 5-10 minutes to get the paperwork filled out. Returning car was fast and easy.

most car rental places at LAX pick you up directly. midway makes you take this bus, operated by the airport, which stops at every terminal and then brings you to a random area which then you get off and then finally head to the rental location. once there, they have no bathroom, and the line moves super slowly. better to spend another $50 per day to avoid this hassle.

The car ran ok & was reliable. However it was a car quite definitely below the level we had requested & paid for. We believe we were given this car, kept waiting an incredibly long time & treated averagely due to the desk woman being overworked & us booking the car through a third party.

The first car had broken windshield wipers. The second car did not have a working phone charger. The third car front screen was broken and they wanted to charge me an “upgrade” fee for a car that actually worked. The fourth car had the fewest issues and ALL the cars were filthy. In addition, the car insurance I purchased from Kayak was not accepted and they said should I have an issue I’d have to pay and be reimbursed by the third party insurance. Given the number of issues we found (because we are very detailed in looking at cars and documenting) I thought it would be wise to get their insurance which was three times higher priced. This place needs to immediately do maintenance on their vehicles and minimally wash them.

Thrifty counter at airport was closed- long line at Dollar counter: then had to go on lower level at another counter to get car. Nearly 2 hours before we get car: what’s the use of checking online?

Car was not clean when picked up and we had to identify multiple scratches and dents not included on the form so with no attendant outside we had to walk back inside to the rental counter to add them to the form before leaving (extra 20 min process)

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

Absolutely awful. I pre-paid for this car rental and when I arrived to the Payless counter, I was told that no cars were available! Calling Payless customer service was useless. They said that the best they could do is to process a refund... how was that going to help? I was stuck at Indianapolis Airport with no means of getting to my final destination. I will never rent with Payless again.

The rental location is terrible. It's a small office on a shady strip. The cars are on the roof of adjacent parking deck. The Guys who work there are really nice but the car was shady. It had no window fluid, it was a screech every time you turn. The back seat headrest didn't work. The list goes on... Just pay the extra money and go to a reputable place. This place is below low budget. Never again!

-Salesman committed fraud stating insurance was $40 for the duration when it was closer to $50 a day -Salesman committed fraud by implying my insurance does not cover rentals (he's acting inappropriately by hinting knowledge of my personal life....my insurance is not public....and it does cover rentals thankfully....but crossing that customer/business veil is inappropriate conduct and edging on safety concerns... -No handicap accessibility concerns, I am disabled, their disabled stall was closed but when I asked they said it was working, having me walk around the building in pain with my cane to find out it's broken. Not handicap friendly -They did not reserve us the Toyota we requested instead substituting for a Charger GT which consumes more gas and is more inconvenient to park than a smaller Toyota, this business tactic may have been done to increase my chances of scratching the car as I not being used to driving it may be likely to make a scratch or, they may have wanted us to forget about all their surcharges once we filled the GT for $120 then their little fraudulent surcharges seem small in comparison...sunken cost fallacy...disgraceful company...

We were lucky the front desk was empty at our arrival so it was quick. They looked at our car insurance and confirmed we didn’t need their insurance. The car was clean. But if you rent baby seats, they are more expensive s than the rental itself.

We are very desappointed because we did not pay the price we booked (about +50%) because there were lots of additionnal charges like the mandotory assurance (we didn’t know we needed to proove that we had a personnal assurance, if so, we should asked a proof to our insurrance to avoid the additionnal charges), a deposit of 2000$ and we were charged because we paid it by card, the car was old with lots of miles and they told us we were not allowed to drive 200miles away from New Orleans. Hopefully our trip was next New Orleans, but if you want to make a road trip it’s a problem. The last, but not least you can read on the door office that the price can change depending on the customer ! I really don’t recommand this Rental.

I like the rate. I did not like that my insurance card had to be presented because my insurance card lives in my personal vehicle. This was the first time renting a car that my I had to present the insurance card to rent the car. Also I was not happy that the car insurance i paid for on the web site was not accepted by Green Motion. i had to purchase additional insurance to rent your vehicle. I also did not like that once inside the rental facility the line stated "U-Save" and not Green Motion. Please clarify that it is the same agency in the future.

It may be wise to not allow this company to transact on kayak as their business practices are questionable at best. Issue: 1. Unexplained transportation, till you arrive in LAX, that consists of a lengthy bus ride and shuttle to arrive at the car rental location. 2. This business does not accept the kayak insurance that is advertised as a way to save time and money, 4. Does not accept private insurance and says the deductibles are not high enough. 5. These practices leave a customer with the only option to accept and pay a higher rate than the kayak car insurance. 6. Thankfully, while attempting to understand the reasons why this information was not shared and while attempting to remedy these issues, a gentleman entered the building saying he just experienced a tire blowout, had to change the tire on his own as they would not respond to his calls and wanted another car to which they initially responded they he would have to pay for the new tire and another rental - deplorable. Please stop predatory companies such as Economy Rent a Car from operating on your website. At a minimum, I am requesting a full refund for this reservation that was not used.

I had to pay so much extra because apparently the insurance I had didn’t cover Expedia/economy car rental despite said insurance covering every other car rental agency. So either I was lied to or it’s just economy and I’m never going to rent from them/expedia again. I was also given a number to call travel guard which is not able to cover after the rental purchase was made. The car was also full of dog hair. In total this rental cost me 200$ instead of the 40 +30 I paid for the rental and insurance initially. Huge rip off. Took forever and is so inconvenient to get to without a car! Insane. Never again.

Took a long time to get the car. First of all, there shuttle only comes to remote rental car center near LAX. You need to take a bus to get there. Then you take there shuttle to get to their office. It took me almost an hour to get the get and be on my way. There were two agents working the desk and they were really helpful but, the whole process was slow. I had to wait a long time.

We booked a car for $140 for 6 days. I checked several times to make sure the car rental was at the airport, not with a shuttle. When we arrived, and finally found an attendant for U-Save amongst the crowd when you exit SJD (Cabo) airport, he indicated we would take a shuttle to the car rental office. We still waited 5-10 minutes for the shuttle. When we finally arrived, they said there were mandatory insurance fees of nearly $60/day, which would bring my total closer to $500–that’s more than triple the price I had reserved with. That was supposed to be the total cost. After much back and forth, they said there’s nothing they could do and that this 3rd party insurance is required in Mexico. We were almost going to agree, about to start the paperwork, then they said they would have to charge $1500 as a deposit for incidentals. This was NOT a hold, this was going to be a charge that they would refund. I’ve rented cars before and I understand a deposit for incidentals. But this amount seemed outrageously high, especially in light of the forced insurance. We decided to skip the car rental altogether and just used taxis/Uber to get around. It cost us much much less, and definitely less headache. I would never ever book with U-Save ever again. And generally be wary of renting a car in Cabo for that matter, as they just try to impose additional costs and triple the anticipated cost.

Rented a 12 passenger van for a college trip with students to study marine biology in southern Florida for 3 weeks. Reservation and rental agreement indicated $889 as total price, $500 (approx) downpayment was made at reservation. Upon arrival, they charged me $1,500 and said there is some required insurance although my University pays for full insurance on all fleet rentals. I do not see this in the details on expedia. The van was in poor condition - dent in the back with cracked bumper from a prior accident. One seat was literally zip-tied on. Two seats did not have seat belts so effectively serves as a 10 passenger vehicle. The zip-tied seat and missing seat belts would be against the law so I have reported this to Florida's Attorney General office for investigation.

The agent was not at the airport on the day of pickup. He told me the reason was that he had called me a day before and I had not answered, which is not true as I have the call logs and haven't received any call/sms/email. Then proceeded to tell me that most of people don't read T&C and that I had to pay 500 EUR insurance for 4 days if I wanted the car, on top of other fees. I am pretty sure something like this would stand out in the invoice, not hidden and nothing to do with T&C because this company would then have much bigger problems than scam sales. I raised a dispute for service not provided, scam offer change. Never again.

I was a little wary about going with a local car rental agency -- I've gotten cars that weren't clean or smelled smoky. Black & White were extremely polite, professional and prompt. I was picked up in an impeccably clean Suburban, and the car I got (Toyota Corolla) was very clean and worked well. As a female, some of these car rental agencies don't feel safe and seem sketchy, but this agency was not one of them. I would 100% recommend them again, and I will definitely see if they have a car for me the next time I need a car from LAX.

They were dreadful. We didn't want a shuttle connection from the airport, but the Kayak info said they were AT Wellington Airport. They were actually in a very small place two and a half kilometres away. They were open only certain hours and when I finally got to speak to a person they denied anyone else had complained and , refused a refund, and blamed the misinformation on the third-party, QEEQ. I would have to approach them for a refund.

I called to find out where the office was and was told it was at the airport terminal. In fact it wasn’t there and we had trouble finding address on the instructions. When we finally got there, there was nothing there – no office, no sign. We kept calling the phone number and it took nearly 2 hours to get our car. The car was filthy. Qverall the whole experience was terrible and I will never use Yesaway again!

Let me start by saying that "Right Cars" has absolutely no regard for their customers' well-being or financial security. When I arrived at their rental office, ready to pick up my supposedly affordable 50 euros car, I was greeted with an outrageous demand: a whopping 650 euros as a deposit. Are they out of their minds? It's beyond comprehension how they can justify such an exorbitant amount for a car that is worth a fraction of that deposit. As if their greed wasn't enough, "Right Cars" shamelessly refused to refund or provide any reasonable alternatives. Instead, they presented me with an ultimatum: pay an additional 80 euros for insurance or fork over a mind-boggling 500 euros as a deposit for a vehicle that should be barely worth the initial rental cost. This level of exploitation and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply disgraceful. It's clear that "Right Cars" Car Rental thrives on taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.
