Apa Hotel Shimbashi Onarimon

The hotel is in a great location, only about 10 minutes walk from Shimbashi, Onarimon and Daimon stations. On the business side of Shimbashi means it is relatively quiet but still close enough to a lot of good restaurants, and also near sights like Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji temple and Shiba Park. Being so close to the JR Yamanote line as well as metro means easy access to most of Tokyo, with also close access to Haneda Airport.

During their stay, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Furuken Ninomaru Restaurant, which offers Japanese specialties. A variety of dining options are also found in the area.

The hotel's rooms are elegant and feature a kitchenette that is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. They have an en suite bathroom with slippers, a hair dryer and a bathtub.

The usual single elevator in an APA hotels is always slow at busy times. The room for 2 is quite small, but it’s Tokyo, so have to accept it. The double bed is too soft. The room was so small, that from 2 persons with minimal luggage the one sleeping „behind“ could not get in/off the bed without waking up the other.

The hotel is in a great location and is in walking distance of a number of well linked subway stations, as well as walkable to a lot of tourist attractions too. The staff were kind and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The room was well furnished and had all the amenities we could need. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was bliss. Would definitely recommend. The hotel seems old and therefore hard to clean properly. Whatever is supposed to be white is no longer white, the bathroom had black mold, the tap was leaking when water was turned on, and the room was incurably dusty.
