Pros:Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons:Staff doesn't need to upsell so hard! The size I reserved was fine. I didn't need a bigger car!

We booked thrifty via a third party so we could pay in advance and when we arrived there were so many people there to pick up a car that we were put on a wait list, only to find out they ended up running out of cars (lucky we had gone to a different place to see if we could get one, although we paid over double what the original rental from Thrifty was meant to be). The employees at Thrifty Albuquerque were apologetic and tried to help, but said there was nothing they could do because the third party companies reserve cars without knowing the amount of inventory available. Whether this is a Thrifty problem, or a problem with the rental car business (esp 3rd party) overall, I’m not sure but it shouldn’t be this way and I’ve never had this problem before, so there should be some oversight for car reservations - especially those that have been prepaid as we are now having to fight with the third party (Qeek) to get our money back.

Cons:Hidden charges. Cost was tripled. Will never use Thrifty again! Good luck trying to talk to a human.

Cons:Had to cancel the rental, with a lot of hassle because the rental counter was not open late enough. Staff to change rental was not helpful. not able to contact the local desk directly, which was a pain!!! will not be renting with you again

Cons:No one was available to check my car out or in so I was unable to make note of the dent in the door or the burn hole in the passenger seat.

Pros:staff very friendly and helpful, made the process very quick and didn't waste any time.
Cons:the only major issue was that one of the tires of the car was severely underpressurized, and I noticed this several hours into my trip - had I not taken care of it myself, the trip could have been held up by a flat or even worse an accident could have occurred.
