Pros. Nice front desk staff. Room easy to find. Straight forward room set up.
Cons. Very dirty! Blood stains on sheets. Collection of dead flies by window. Tv didn’t work well, but still got a few good channels. Shower was odd. Overall, this place is falling apart, but for 60 bucks a night, i will come back. If they charge more, then I would never return.
Pros. Great front office staff. Complimentary pass to the Aquatic Centre On location bar and restaurant with live music Close to town centre Great value
Cons. NA
Pros. Internet was very fast. Check-in & check-out were quick. The bed was comfortable enough for the price of the hotel. The room was reasonably clean.
Cons. Water on the carpet in the hotel room. Worn & frayed carpet. Air conditionner was quite loud.
Pros. Stayed one night as I was under the belief that the nice pool and lazy river pool was IN the hotel - IT IS NOT !!! You get free passes to the aquatic centre down the street. It is near the downtown core so walkability is good but the room and service was TERRIBLE - the new manager (been there 3 days) did not make eye contact or look up to serve me for about 2 minutes; after he was done some paperwork. Even the house cleaner was smirking and nodding her head when I complained about the room (as if she'd heard it all before). Pillows were WELL-USED and smelly; toilet seat was falling off and swivelled upon sitting. Kids slept in their clothes, carpet and bedding was POOR QUALITY. Ghetto hotel; avoid. I never complain but this was BAAAAAD.
Pros. Cheap, proximity to downtown
Cons. Lumpy / springy beds, front desk not helpful, room kind of gross in general, tv color not working properly, tv remote scotch taped / broken
Pros. Proximity to downtown, mini fridge to keep our cooler items cold overnight, decent sized room.
Cons. Mattress sloped from feet to head, the 2 pillows were completely flat, garbage left in room.
Pros. -value -bar -aquatic center -location -helpful staff
Cons. lack of bathroom ventilation room/furnishings condition
Pros. Included breakfast was better than some other places I've stayed. Location was decent - within walking distance of the main street and restaurants. (See negatives for why we went looking for an offsite restaurant)
Cons. Room was dated and neglected. Bathroom wasn't dirty, but wasn't clean either - passable, barely. Air conditioner is noisy and right beside one of the beds, so one bed freezes and the other bed hovers around comfortable and a tad warm. When asked about dining options the reception lady at check-in hardly helped convince us to stay onsite to eat. Turned her nose up at the pub and while trying to sell us on prime rib at the restaurant didn't seem convinced it was worth what the asking price ($38, if I recall). Parking lot is also in pretty rough shape and had it not been a small town, I wouldn't have felt safe leaving my vehicle there overnight.
