Older than it looks in pictures and unfortunately there are some concerns with the building itself. Our first room was “musty” smelling, like there had been a flood and they’d just barely dried things out before we arrived. The second room was better, but still not what we have come to expect from Hilton properties. The furniture is old and worn, the bed a little stiff. On the other hand, the staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. ThT makes up for a multitude of frustrations.

Cons. The rooms and particularly the electronics were in poor condition. The TVs barely worked. One was a brand I had never heard of, the better one was a Samsung. Only the number buttons on the remote control seem to work, no guides, menus, etc. Also, the room is so outdated that there was not a single USB plug in the room and the front desk doesn’t have any to lend. Be sure to bring your own plug in USB. Location: it is nice that this is a Disney Springs DoubleTree on Hotel Plaza Blvd, but it is an awfully long walk to Disney Springs. Finally, as many other reviews mentioned the resort AND parking fees are a joke. This is a hotel, not a resort.
