Pros. Great spot for pulling off the road during a long trek, very private, quiet, and loved that it was pet friendly
Cons. Could have been cleaner
Pros. Location was good and plenty of eating options around. Good complimentary breakfast at the diner next door
Cons. Wouldn’t use the shower. It was probably clean but so much grime build up in the crevices and soap scum. Pillows like rocks. Noisy through the walls and floors.
Pros. I was rather impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the attached diner.
Pros. Penny's Diner next door and the night manager that confirmed, for Hotels.com, the filthy condition of our room so we could be moved to different hotel, Comfort Inn, near by at no charge.
Cons. The visibly extensive filth of the carpet from the front door , under the beds to the what looked like a dead mouse under the air conditioner. The bathroom floor with mold in the grout. The dead bugs at different areas in the room. Themulti pull dead hats on the sheets. The room was very dirty.
Pros. Good rate.
Cons. We arrived in the evening and the manager in charge at the time was agitated and overwhelmed, and proceeded to explain all the reasons our room wasn't ready even though we had booked it in April (e.g. lazy staff, left early and refused to clean rooms, she was the only one there, etc.). She almost told us there wasn't a room available due to overbooking until she saw that we had a guaranteed room (prepaid). She contacted the night staff to clean the "last king room" they had, and we waited for about 20 minutes in the sparse lobby until about 9:50 p.m. until the room was ready. The breakfast voucher at the nearby diner is also now limited to a few items. We used to like this place as an overnight stay on our way to Colorado due to its quiet rooms and good rate, but probably won't stay again as there are several other options in the area.
Pros. Staff was tremendously friendly and helpful in taking care of a booking blunder. Penny's Diner makes this hotel stand out from others. Excellent full breakfast included with your stay.
Cons. They overbooked the hotel and had to split my family into 2 rooms instead of the room we had booked. One of the rooms had not been cleaned, so they had to move part of us to an different room. Hair was in the shower of one of our rooms. They did give us a partial refund for the inconvenience.
Pros. Inexpensive Friendly 24 hour diner Breakfast vouchers
Cons. Nothing
Pros. Excellent service. Clean room and dinner food was amazing.
Cons. No complains here.
Pros. Breakfast was great
Cons. There was only a little bit of toilet paper
