Pros. The location is excellent for walking to restaurants, shopping, and dancing at the historic beachfront OD Pavilion, Fat Harold's Beach Club, and all the shag dance places. It's beachfront, and you can rent beach umbrellas and chairs for the day right as you want onto the beach. Has a great pool area, and lazy river, plus 2 jacuzzis. Friendly staff. Kitchenette rooms have a microwave, full refrigerator, small dining table with chairs, and separate sink (no stove, so plan accordingly). Beach Bar and grill on first floor was good, and offered dancing in the evenings. Good place to stay for access to the beach, and the fun things to do in North Myrtle Beach!
Cons. Breakfast buffet was good, but nothing exciting that we wanted every morning of our stay.

Pros. I was very displeased with the room that was booked via kayak. The front desk was helpful in putting us in a more appropriate room, but for a few.

Worst night of sleep I ever had in a hotel. No breakfast included. Understand it was a beachfront hotel but felt it was very over-priced. Spent the night before in a hotel in Brunswick that was half the price and included a hot breakfast.
