Convenient location, no complaints about staff. Room had a musty smell and blinds didn't work very well. Bed was a little lumpy on one side. Quiet except for housekeeping in late morning.
Pros. Cleanliness and very good included breakfast
Cons. Front desk staff could not find reservation so had to stand there for over 15 minutes!! NEver did correct incorrect spelling of name so no one could find me during my stay..... Discrepancy between morning check out bill and (higher) amount charged to Discover card!! WIll have to waste time on follow up call
Pros. We prefer Marriott hotels and this one did not disappoint. It is so centrally located, just a few blocks from Bryant Park, Macy's Herald Square and Times Square, as well as Fifth Avenue and Radio City. The breakfast was great, lots of choices with eggs, yogurt, muffins, bagels and more. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend and would stay again on next visit to the City, especially at Christmas.
Cons. Only that no coffee available in lobby during day.
