Pros. The room was nice, the staff extremely helpful and courteous and we were very impressed with the cooked to order menu and chef.
Pros. We staid there because Solvang was sold out for father's day weekend and I found this hotel so the price was great so we gave it a chance and let me tell you was great, my kids loved it, The staff is very nice, the breakfast was delicious, the location it's great very close to stores and restaurants. We defiantly going back to this hotel on our next central coast road trip.
Cons. Parking, give it that there is construction going on and there is a lot of storage containers everywhere, with that being said there is not a lot of parking lot even if you remove those containers, the pool supposed to be heated and it was not but we enjoyed the Jacuzzi.
Pros. New Facilities are very nice. The variety of food was less than the past. The happy hour was very skimpy. Staff was extremely accommodating and your night Security (Mike) was a gem. He made us feel very safe.
Cons. Noise from renovation and lesser quality of food products was a surprise. I have been a guest annually for 30 yrs. and can applaud the renovation. It was long overdue. Your breakfast buffet should offer more choices of food variety as in the past. Seems like cheaper products are being offered to cut costs,
Pros. Staff was trying hard.
Cons. Dated, dirty, and dingy. The heater in our room didn't work, so we were brought a replacement. That also didn't work, so we needed another. The breakfast layout is ludicrous- ALL hot food is supposed to be handled by one cook, who had way more guests than he could handle. why not have sausages or hot potatoes in a buffet style so that people can grab those if they don't want to wait and in an enormous line? Won't be staying here again. Lompoc as a town is also awful!
Pros. Size of the room was nice, bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice, and friendly. Always said hello when you walk through lobby.
Pros. It's a good place and located right in the center of Lompoc
Cons. Our first room smelled so bad we had to change rooms. The second room was a little better but still had a bad odor. When we turned the Fossetts on there was a heavy smell of sulfur. We were later told that the rooms smell musty Because of the water.
