Pros. The room was good for what you pay for. Probably could use a remodel or a fresh coat of paint. But for how cheap it was, it was good. Especially if your not spending a lot of time in the room.
Cons. Some walls had chips. Our room was supposed to be smoke free but it smelled like smoke when you walked in. Overall it was a decent room.
Pros. The bathroom was clean.
Cons. As soon as we walked in the room an odor smacked us in the face. My adult daughter said it smelled like urine. I thought it smelled like some kind of cleaner that was covering a urine Snell. The room was also VERY humid and wet feeling. Even though the AC was running. Could also smell cigarette smoke from a guest that was smoking somewhere near our room. Definitely not what i expected for a Baymont Inn. Not worth the $95 I paid for it!!! I won't stay there again.
Pros. This room met our needs; a good bed and hot shower.
Cons. The fan for the heater needs attention it was rather noisy.
Pros. Close to KU campus but far from I-35 and a little jaunt from I-70. The staff was friendly. The lobby was OK, and there was an RO water filter, which was nice for filling up water bottles. The shower head, though low in positioning, offered good pressure and the water was hot.
Cons. Overall, the hotel is dated and desperately in need of an update (the bathroom in the room was decent). The decor was tired, and most things just looked beat up - the tile floors in the lobby hallway, in the elevator and on the landings for each floor. Our first room was really smokey, so we ended up moving over to another one. Then we had to go back to the front desk to ask for soap, as there wasn't any in the bathroom. Not a huge deal, but overall, just another little thing in the less than ideal column.
Cons. The place was dirty. Carpet was coming up and out the window was old lumber laying in the grass
