Pros. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Not elegant or romantic but spartan economical functional. Bed was cozy.
Cons. 2nd floor walk up. Besides that, it was great. Maybe there is an elevator we didn't see but we weren't feeling that lazy.
Pros. The space was perfect for our last night in Iceland. We hit some bumps in the road with previous lodging on our trip, which is to be expected; however, it was quite relieving to walk into Bergas Guesthouse and be greeted with a friendly face and such attention to detail. The check-in process was the smoothest we experienced, our room was prepared and ready for us to walk in and fall into very comfortable beds to rest. We booked here because it was a short drive to the Blue Lagoon and minutes from the airport and we would be visiting both in the following 24 hour period. Perfect location, great price, lovely owners. Wish we could have stayed a little longer to explore the surrounding area and waterfront. I will definitely keep Bergas Guesthouse in mind for future trips.
Pros. The owners are very personable and make for a magical experience. The hotel room was delightfully comfortable. We lived it here and will return.
