The room was in serious disrepair. The AC had all it could do to cool the room. The restaurant was terribly over priced, poorest service ever. Ate there the first day and were not happy, the food was just blaa. Went across the street after and had great meals at fair prices. I will not recommend the hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable but we were disappointed that the beds were rather small. The staff was friendly and the hotel is well located with a few dining options and Monument Valley a few minutes away.
Cons. Ice cold shower, wifi did not connect to internet; large rooms, good location

We can hear every noise from the guy taking a shower next room, people walking upstairs, to people talking outside on the parking lot, very badly acoustically insulated wall! And the bad experience : we forgot 2 things in the room, we had to call a few times before having the people find ouf the stuff and they didn't find one of the 2 thing even if it was in the closed pocket of the first one...bizarre...

Cons. Rooms are poorly maintained. Thermopane windows are fogged up, front desk was rude and unhelpful. Restaurant was blah and poorly prepared food. Items did not match the menu description and apparently that is just how its done there. Landscaping is barren and very dusty. If you get stuck in the older part of the building that was built in 1960 they have either central heat or central air, and in mid April it was getting hot and those rooms had no AC and most appeared to not have any windows that opened. We found out the next morning there is supposedly a pretty good restaurant at the Hampton Inn which the front desk did not tell us about (hoping we would eat at their terrible restaurant instead). Web site says 10% discount if you are from CO but they did not have that available the day we were there. No PPV TV available (even though its advertised on the web site). Kayenta is on the reservation, and as such alcohol is illegal, so BYOB. Their pet policy seems to vary, the web site says a $200 refundable deposit which we were not asked to pay, I see on this site one guest was charged $50.00. Overall just poorly run.
