Pros. Newly renovated lobby and restaurant. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly restaurant staff. Free and plentiful parking.
Cons. Microwaves and refrigerators are not standard in rooms; requested them and finally got a fridge on my 3rd night after being told it had been delivered twice before. They did not go out of their way to accommodate us but did let us store baby's milk in the kitchen fridge. Rooms have not been renovated. Bathroom was in disrepair.
Cons. Rooms are not updated, very small and beds were not comfortable
Pros. I enjoyed everything. I am a syarwood spg member and I wanted to experience a Marriott due to the pending merger. The lay out and over all presentation was nice and welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable and room layout was nice with the chair and foot rest. Nice big bathrooms.
Cons. Except for the bar area the deco was a bit dated dated.
Pros. Close to HIU and Cal State. I was able to walk to my meetings. Good suggestions for local activities, including the car service which got me too and from the airport. Nice restaurant in the lobby with a good breakfast. Rooms were comfortable
Cons. It was too expensive for a hotel with amenities. Everything was under construction. For the price I paid, I would expect a pool, bar,and fitness center. It had none.
