The interior windows of the car were filthy, and the vehicle had dents and scratches on almost every panel. The passenger-side wiper was half ripped off, while the driver’s-side wiper was so dried out that it simply smeared the windshield. Thankfully, I didn’t have to drive in the rain. The employee who checked me in at the Las Vegas location seemed like she could care less about her job. It took approximately 30 minutes to check in, despite there being only 4–5 customers in the building at the time. I was also charged a $200 drop-off fee, even though the vehicle was returned to another Fox rental location and, presumably, could be rented from that location again. This fee was not disclosed to me when I reserved the vehicle. I believe these types of “add-on” fees should be clearly disclosed upfront, rather than being revealed when you arrive to pick up the car. By the time all the additional fees are added, a so-called “budget” rental can cost just as much as a premium rental company. Lesson learned. I would not rent from Fox again, and based on my experience, I would strongly discourage others from using them.
Had to wait an hour to get the rental car . The guy pushed hard to sell us things we didnt need. He actually said that I should get the roadside assistance because he saw too many times people getting stuck on the side of the road.
They would not rent me a car for unknown reasons and the customer service was terrible.
So many surprise add on charges, wish there was more transparency upfront
Price was way higher then it was promised. They were forcing me to buy their insurance which increased the price by more than the actual car rental i was promised. So I rejected and did not rent. Ended up taking the bus.
It was unclear that the pick up was not at the airport. I had to Uber downtown to pick it up after waiting in line at the Airport.
There was nothing positive about this experience. They couldn’t be bothered to pretend to have customer service. The worst car rental experience. We waited for an hour at the airport trying to pick up our previously booked car. The car was dirty. The people at the counter were rude and not pleasant. Everything was completely unprofessional.
First of all they did not have a car for me I paid in advance for insurance and I was not reimbursed I had to rent a car from an other company Very disappointed and dissatisfying
Price was under eurocar and not the rate that was given by Fox
Cheap rental and expectations should be adjusted accordingly. $12/day insurance is mandatory but still makes it the cheapest rental available.
