Pros. Location
Cons. Smoking in the only bar/restaurant
Pros. The complete staff was pleasant to talk to from property worker to the maids. and had great time talking with the bar staff Rodney, Shelly, Pam, and Dave love all them planning on returning next year and hope I can talk my staff to join me. Thank you for a great week
Pros. Close to everything
Cons. Mattresses infested with bugs. Was told they were termites and no other rooms were available. After sleeping 2 nights in that room we have bites all over us. Manager gave us a $25 gift card for my children and I to use at the tiki bar. Finally moved to an upgraded room and only comped for one night. The upgraded room had roaches. This is also not a very family oriented hotel. The locals like to hang out at this tiki bar. Very loud all day and all night. Hotel staff also leaves every night at 11pm.
Pros. Very nice old Florida atmosphere with a great tiki bar. The rooms were large and the king bed was very comfortable. The furniture a bit dated but nice, clean and neat. On May 17th, a not so well-traveled person, said the price was too high for off season. We stayed there the evening of June 23 and I thought the price was very reasonable for this type of property and the location.
Pros. The Light House is prime spot to Everything. Walking distance to everything that you need to get to. Would Highly recommend, Good Fun People all around!!!
Cons. That I had to leave.
Pros. Tiki bar and swimming pools
Cons. We had a two bedroom suite that was facing the tiki bar. Unfortunately for us, they stay open until 2 AM which made sleep difficult and there was a rowdy crowd nearby that was very noisy outside our room. I would not recommend this place unless you're looking to party all night. Perhaps if we had been in a different area things would have better.
Pros. Everything was right there
Cons. Parking
Pros. Everything! Clean rooms great location great staff!
Cons. Nothing
Pros. The location is great, very convenient for restaurants, bars, gift stores and the beach (or bay). Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly. We ate at the resort a couple of times, and the food was good. The breakfast burrito was excellent, and I appreciate how the chef/cook presented it. If it would have been served with fresh pico and guacamole instead of store bought salsa, I'd have been comfortable paying $2+ more for it (and it would have been a better overall experience). The room was very small, which should be noted, but that was completely fine with us. If you plan to hang out in your room, you may see if they have a bigger space available, as the only seating is the bed and two rather uncomfortable bar stools. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with more plant-life than you can even take in. We kept getting turned around/lost in the resort, because it was so densely landscaped and beautiful.
Cons. When we pulled up the woman working the counter was smoking on the front step and hanging out with her family. It was Father's day, so I get it, but it's still not professional (she was very nice and attentive when we walked up). The Tiki Bar is a cool concept, and we've actually been going there for years. It feels a bit run-down and dirty. There are WAY too many TV's in it, which detract from what a Tiki Bar is IMO. The TV's also had little dirty signs on them that said "NFL Game"....it was June. These signs looked like they were supposed to be changed daily/hourly depending on what was actually on said TV, but they had obviously not been changed in some time. I'm assuming they have gone after the sports bar angle to attract more business during football season, but it sure takes away from the tropical feel.
Pros. It hadbeverything and more u needed to stay
Cons. Loved it all
