Pros. The place was spotless - clean and fresh. The view is beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Also, we got stranded due to car problems and they let us stay pat check out time until it was resolved. The staff were so nice - from the front desk folks to the cleaning staff.
Pros. Our room was next to the steps to the second floor so it was noisy when people went up and down the stairs outside our room. But after hours that seemed to quiet down. And the room seemed really clean except when I grabbed the ice bucket to fill it...there was melted old water in the bucket. I took it to the front desk and they gave me a new clean one but does make me wonder what else may not have been checked or cleaned by maid staff. The hotel is older but clean and nice pool. And live music by the pool in the evening.

Cons. I'm a single woman. There were no locks on the windows, it smelled horrible and the bed was right by the unlockable window. I asked for a stick or something to put in the window, but they had none. The owner said she would buy a lock, but it would be at least two hours before she could be back. I had somewhere I needed be, so waiting in my room was not an option. I checked out and planned to sleep in my truck if nothing else. Found a great place called The Fawn Valley Inn. Best decision i could have made! Never book Americas Best Value!!!
