For the money we paid, we expected excellent service and it’s ok! It’s been better on previous v.a avión.Don’t think I’ll go back there on vacation soon. I have to say, though, that the wedding reception my son had there was excellent! The staff was excellent and the food and drinks were outstanding.I would celebrate all events there, if I needed.
Quite easy to see why it is assumed to be the best resort in all of Puerto Rico. Yes it’s expensive, but that’s not a secret. It is understood you are paying more for the peace of mind that you will not regret this place. I only docked a point due to the relatively early hour that things begin to shut down. There’s no nightlife scene on the actual resort, so if you had your heart set on dancing and drinks after dinner, you will likely have to leave the resort and go to a local establishment. They do offer some live music occasionally, but it’s the subdued, ambient variety, that will likely end at the first sign of rain or punctually between 10pm-12am. Lastly, the beautiful pools and spas close at 6pm, and thats just such a shame, as they look so incredibly beautiful at night with the accent flames and artfully designed lighting. I had every intent to swim under the stars but unfortunately the pools close while the sun is still blasting down. The suite we purchased had its own pool, so we just took the fun to the room but these two things would have made the trip go from amazing to absolutely epic.
