I honestly did not like anything from this hotel or stay, the staff was not friendly, or willing to help at all no good customer service was ever shown. The place was not clean at all and every single day we found either a spider or roach in the room or on top of the actual bed. This was such a horrible experience I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Cons. The hall and room smelled like smoke
Pros. Great location by Fort Jackson. Easy to get to. Staff was nice and friendly, food was fine-eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage or bacon, yogurt, cereal & juice. Room was nice. King bed was comfy. Overall a good hotel. I'd stay there again even with my 'things I didn't like' part.
Cons. Only on mirror in the entire room and it was right above the sink so you couldn't share the space with someone. It was a single sink with little counter space between 2 walls. They just need to add a mirror somewhere else and they'd be good. Asked for a rollaway for when our soldier was able to leave basic training after graduation. Were told they didn't do that in their hotel, yet when we walked by an open housekeeping closet there were three cots lined up just waiting to be used. No conditioner in the room. Didn't use the coffee pot or the hair dryer.
