Basic accommodation but extremely clean and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Long walk to super market if you do want to self cater, small imart next door but very limited availability. Does what it says on the tin.
Pros. Pirate's Inn served my purposes, being next to stores and places to eat like Subway and KFC. The beach and boardwalk are a quick walk down the block and across the street. Other businesses are within a few minutes walk along the main road. The room was like an efficiency apartment with a kitchen and closet space. Bus stops by the stores provide cheap transportation ($2 BDS/$1 US) to Bridgetown, the airport and elsewhere. The staff promptly answered questions I emailed before my trip. All this for a rate cheaper than other hotels. I would stay here again.
Cons. Had no problems with this hotel. I read online that air conditioning costs extra so I stuck with the two fans that I left on and aimed at the bed for the entire stay. I imagine this might bother some people but I was okay with it and it probably helps to keep the cost of the room down. There was no shampoo in the room though I did not ask for any.
